MIMARU Tokyo Asakusa Station Reviews

Not recommend for people who drive. As there is no car park and the car cannot stop at the entrance, it’s difficult for you to get to the hotel with luggage’s from the car. Moreover, if you are sensitive to light or sunlight, u will definitely regret ! As the curtain between the window is not cannot fully shade . The photo is taken during 7am!

Place was pristine with zen vibes. Reception staff were enthusiastic in ensuring our needs were met. It's located close to the subway and highly accessible.

We are a family of 4, with child and elderly, staying in a family room in the hotel. The hotel responded fast to my enquiry via email before our stay. The location of the hotel is very convenient. The subway and convenient store is just around the corner. There is a lovely kids' playground near the hotel. There are lots of resturant choices around the area. Although the hotel is located in a busy area, it is quiet in our room. The hotel room is very clean and spacious for 4 of us with our luggages. The room is well equipped. We could also borrow some items from the reception at our check-in, like rice cooker, adapter and charging cable. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. We can easily communicate with them in English. Overall, our stay in MIMARU (Tokyo Asakusa Station) hotel was impressive!

The hotel itself is new, nice and close to various subway exit and the closest being EXIT 4 from Asakusa Station and there is also another exit with lift access which is easier for baby stroller and huge luggage that need a little walking distance. The hotel apartment room is consider large and is enough for 4 adults with its bunk bed + 2 single beds. The view from the roof was the highlight as our room is not facing the river. The staffs are very kind and polite, the check in and out process was seamless and the WiFi provided was consider fast. Will definitely stay with mimaru hotel in Japan in the future for sure!

Great venue for exploring Asakusa. Staff was friendly and room was good size for family of four.

My family of 2 adults + 2 kids under 6 stayed at two Mimaru hotels during our summer trip to Tokyo and both were equally good. Mimaru Ikebukuro was slightly more quiet while this one in Asakusa was in the middle of a lot of tourist attractions. We loved it because of the space and in-room facilities that allowed us to cook our own meals, it was also very convenient with an onsite laundry room.

Prime location with conviennce store next to the front gate and 3mins walk to Asakusa station. Spacious and cozy for family stay with wonderful view of sumida river, asahi building and Tokyo skytree. Rooftop terrace also offers a great view of the river, skytree and skyline.

The location is great, 1 min walk from the closest metro exit. Right next to the hotel there is Lawson convenient store. Nearby is the big intersection where you can find a lot of restaurants and shops. The front desk staffs are English friendly and being very helpful. The family room we booked are spacious with two bedrooms and a bunk bed. The place is very clean and tidy. It would be very nice if the washing machine is inside the unit.

The hotel is very close to Asakusa Station on the Ginza Line, making it very convenient for travel. It is very close to Sensoji Temple and the area is also very lively.

A wise choice for a family trip. The toilet 🚽 flushing design is great. There is a small basin on top to wash your hands when flushing. It can be reused ♻️

It's really good. First the location is very close to different subway lines, including JR, Ginza, Toei Asakusa line exits. Then there are 24-hour convenience stores and ramen shops downstairs and nearby (good food). Close to Remon again, Zhongshi sees shopping street. Then the quality of service in the hotel is very good, the counter staff is very nice, very proactive to help, English, Chinese and Japanese. It is also very convenient to wash clothes. There are not many hotel facilities, but just staying to other places to play is super good. Both the room and building hygiene is very good. Except the washing machine is more dusty. The main thing is that the well-equipped refrigerator in the room has a cooling compartment and a microwave is really good. I would like to choose Mimaru again in Japan 🙏

I recommend this as a family accommodation. It is convenient to go to and from Narita (Sky Access, Liner is 2 stops from Ueno), and you can conveniently go to Disneyland by taking a direct bus from Skytree Tower. It is right in front of Ginza Line 4, so it is convenient to use the Ginza Line, and there is a Family Mart on the first floor, so I used it well.

Apartment-style hotel, right next to Asakusa Station, very convenient to take the subway. Also close to Sensoji Temple. When cleaning, they don't make the quilt, just clean up the garbage and change the towels. The soundproofing effect of Japanese hotels is very poor, but fortunately the guests are very conscious.
