The location is super convenient—just a 10-minute walk from the station, which made getting around really easy. The room is small but has everything you need, including a washer, microwave, and fridge. There are also plenty of convenience stores nearby, which was really helpful.
A couple of things to keep in mind:
There’s no elevator, so carrying large suitcases up the stairs can be a bit of a challenge. Also, the room is quite compact—it’s a bit tight if you need to open 2 big suitcases (larger than 24”) at the same time.
Overall, a cozy and well-equipped place that’s great for short stays!

Excellent location. My Second stay with this property. You can access to different metro lines. It is super convenient. There are malls and restaurants surrounding the hotel. Highly recommended.

It's a little far from the subway station, but it is located right by Sunshine City. There is also a convenience store located in the Hotel. Room was spacious (for a solo traveller), bed was comfy and shower pressure was good! Staff is also friendly and speak basic English. Would love to stay again if I could!

Room is small but that’s expected in Japan. Booked 2 rooms and one was a corner room which is slightly bigger. The washer/dryer was really convenient and they provided detergent as well, it takes about 2h40mins for one cycle. Location was great and they have free coffee and water bottles in the lobby area. Amenities are placed beside the reception and it’s self service. Cleaning services are optional with a fee, but you can request for towel changes and clearing the dustbin by sticking a magnetic label on your door. Overall, very satisfied.

For a 3-star hotel, this room offers great value for money. The location is very close to Ikebukuro Station, just less than 5 mins walk away. There are so many restaurants and stores in the vicinity. In a 3-guest room, there is even an extra sink outside the bathroom, which makes things easier for 3 girls staying in the room together. The room may not be large, but it's cozy and comfortable. The hair dryer is excellent; we all wanted to buy it because it dries hair very smoothly and leaves it feeling silky.

Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. In addition, they allow luggage storage if you touch down early or if you have to check out and finding a place to store your luggage temporarily. Location is really convenient as well! and there were many eateries everywhere tooo!! and best part there’s a 7-11 right below the hotel!!
The room was small but in a city like Tokyo it was expected. Clean room. The location was super convenient as Komagome is on the JR Yamanote Line and also on Tokyo Metro Namboku Line. Both stations are within steps of the hotel. There are plenty of food options and convenience stores around. It was a very quiet neighborhood so it may not be ideal for some people but for me and my kid it was perfect.
Good location as it’s in the Yamanote line, and in between Ikebukuro and Shinjuku.
Just 1 minute walk from station.
Great for shopping day trips around those area as going back to hotel isn’t a long train ride back.
But if you will be taking Shinkansen, then it’s relatively far from Ueno or Tokyo station.
Room is clean and can open 3 mid sized luggages.
Check in and out is self serviced with the kiosk, pretty fuss-free.

My mother stayed there when he visited me in Tokyo. She did nor speak Japanese and English. When checking in the attendant at the front desk kept on speaking Japanese to my mom. And she had to call me as she didn’t understand anything. I tried to help with my limited Japanese but I couldn’t very much as she was speaking in honorific forms and I was not good at them. I also had my Japanese friends help me. Everything took like 45 min. And after that I asked the front desk lady if she had a translator app or something. And then she brings out a translator machine box which translate perfect Turkish!!! And she did not even use that once in that 45 min. My mom would not have to call me if she used that translator at the beginning. That was very unprofessional of the staff. Mere laziness!!!

This hotel is probably one of my favourite in Japan. Love how cozy the place is. So many konbinis close by and cafes too. Ikebukuro main station is also about 7 to 10 mins walk. My 2nd time staying here and will probably stay again.

Great
GGuest UserThe location is easy to find. You can find it by entering the address using Gaode. There are convenience stores nearby. It's a ten to fifteen minute walk from the subway station. The room is very clean. Although small, it has everything. When I went there, I happened to meet a Chinese guy at the front desk. He patiently answered our questions and provided great convenience for me who is not good at English or Japanese.

VVentraseeThe best hotel we've stayed in Japan so far. It is close to Mejiro train station. It's not a busy area, so the trains are not packed, unlike in tokyo or akihabara. The breakfast buffet is very good. Lots of choices eventhough it is the same everyday. There's a welcome drink that we forgot to use. Be sure to use it straight away.
HHongjing2019The room is small and exquisite, fully equipped, with a beautiful environment and warm service. The waiter can also say welcome and thank you in Chinese, and help customers carry their luggage upstairs!

KKobChareeyaThe hotel is in very good locations. The staff is nice. The bed was good except extra bed. Don’t ever expect you would have a good sleep on that thing. We stayed for a week and the hotel only gave us 4 bottles of water on first day and no more. Told us to refilled water at the lobby. If we want more water , go buy at the 711 downstairs. Ok, we supposed to use same water bottle for the whole week. This is kinda ridiculous. And if you don’t leave the room by 11 o’clock, they wouldn’t clean the room for you. If you don’t mind about all these, it’s a good place to stay.

22022yongganyidianThe location is particularly good, stay at the exit of Otaru Station for one minute, the room is large, it is a very cost-effective kind in Japan, the facilities are complete, the sound is good, the window is a little stuffy, but after all, it is an adult hotel, the privacy is very good, especially the couple is especially recommended

PPhoenixOther aspects of the hotel are fine, after all, it is not the kind of luxury hotel suitable for staying for several days, it is more suitable for backpackers.
There is a disadvantage that the experience is very poor, that is, the ventilation fan in the room cannot be turned off, the noise is very loud, which greatly affects sleep.
Hopefully the hotel can improve.
