Hotels Near Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden in Tokyo

The room is super small. And not too clean. Some room stuffs are old and yellow stained. No accessible microwave but have coin laundry at lv4. Got subway station right next to it so good location.

Room is good size compare to other same price hotel in Tokyo. Three minute walk to the outlook tower. 15 minute walk to Shinjuku JR station. Shinjuku NS Building is also three minute walk. We stayed in this hotel for three nights. However the laundry room was locked for all 3 days in the main building, we have to walk to another building (in the heavy rains), otherwise it was a nice hotel , we will definitely come back for this price. Clean and friendly staff as well.

It was really nice. There’s not that many hotels that serve a room for 3 people but here has it. I didn’t want a room with camp bed or folding bed. The additional bed was cosy here. The room was quite small for three people but we almost didn’t stay in the room and just came here for a sleep so it was fine. Two convenience stores are near to the hotel and it’s really close to the subway station Hanzomon so I thought it’s a perfect choice for the Tokyo trip. Plus next to the hotel there’s a quick soba restaurant maybe for the morning business man was cheap and the taste is also not bad. If you’re busy you can try it

I admit that the environment is very good. The environment of Japanese hotels is basically very good. However, this capsule hotel has too many rules. You need to take off your shoes when entering the store, check out at 10 o'clock after staying for two days, and you need a travel permit to go out at night. In addition, the locker for luggage is very small. Most of the people who stay here are Japanese. If you don't speak the language, it is really inconvenient because there are many rules. They explain and gesture to you every time you go out. It takes too much time for me. If it is your first time to Japan, I suggest you don't stay in this hotel. The Japanese are very friendly and can help me with any difficulties I encounter. This is very good and I can't experience it in China.

This hotel is excellent, location is very good, near many sights in Tokyo, staff are very nice, and really take consideration on our needs, will visit this hotel when we travel to Tokyo again.

The hotel is very well located and you have the subway station in less than 5 min by foot. Many convenient stores are near it. The receptionists were very kind. If we are going back to Tokyo, we would definitely come back. They all explained us very well how to get to Mt Fuji easily! We recommend.

It is under new ownership and management. Name was changed but it is the previous Oak Hostel Fuji with the same beds and rooms. They renovated the kitchen lounge area. Looks nicer but the bed types are not comfortable to get in or out even if you had the lower bed. So, honestly it is overpriced as long as they have these painful beds. 5000 JPY will get you a private room at a hotel even around Tokyo. Or you can pay 1,000 JPY more to find a nice hotel around Asakusa or in Yokohama.

I decided to stay for another day and the reception was nice enough to give me the same room. I walked around Ariake in the morning. The place feels so futuristic. I walked to the Toyosu fish market at 5 to see tuna sell. Was very relaxing.

Perfect place for transit but quite far from the emnities. But the place are so convinient with the shuttle service every half an hour to and fro airport as well as to the train station.
