It was a nice experience staying inside Wuzhen. Although I couldn’t get the room with the “better view” that I wanted, the amenities were well-prepared. As for the staff, they seemed a bit short-handed. I requested to have the shower head cleaned because the water flow was weak, but the staff’s reaction was rather reluctant; she asked, “Right now? Now?” Well, if not now, then when? In the end, we just decided to let it go. Breakfast wasn’t great either; it was cold and not very tasty but it is what it is. Overall, it was still a decent stay just for the experience of staying inside Wuzhen.

Absolutely fantastic! We stayed in a waterfront room, which was a truly special experience. My mother was carsick upon arrival, and the hotel even provided mung bean sweet soup and snow fungus soup for her in the evening. I highly recommend staying within the scenic area; the night views are absolutely stunning. The hotel was impeccably clean, and Xiao Dang, the staff member who assisted us, was incredibly warm and helpful. She came out early to meet us, helped with our luggage, introduced us to the attractions, suggesting routes and a recommended order of visit, and consistently checked in with us to see if we needed anything. The hotel breakfast was also delicious. Traveling with elderly parents and children, and with the hot weather, Xiao Dang thoughtfully advised me on the pros and cons of the hotel's breakfast versus trying local morning tea spots. In the end, we opted for the buffet breakfast at the hotel, and I also went to a morning tea spot to buy some specialty snacks to bring back and eat. Overall, it was a perfect experience and a perfect trip to Wuzhen. If I visit Wuzhen again, I would definitely choose to stay at Tong'an Inn.

The hotel lives up to it's expectations - perfect location, luxurious rooms, attentive service. Also worth mentioning the included service package which brings you directly to the hotel via boat ride and also the breakfast on boat experience. The best thing of this hotel is the great service provided by our 管家lrene (苏木). Her attentiveness to details was amazing. Helping us feel welcome in beautiful wuzhen.

Wuzhen is truly exceptionally well-managed, with meticulous attention to detail. Each time I've visited over the years, there's always a new delightful surprise. This trip, we stayed within the Xizha scenic area, and the check-in process at the service center was incredibly smooth. The shuttle buses use a specially designed lane, built like a covered bridge, which cleverly avoids overlapping with the main sightseeing areas and instead runs exclusively along the ancient town's perimeter. Noting we were a family, the hotel front desk thoughtfully arranged for us to have two rooms within a waterfront building. With a living room on the ground floor and two rooms upstairs, it genuinely felt like we had an entire villa to ourselves. Each room featured a charming, antique-style canopy bed, and the smart air mattresses offered adjustable firmness. From the window, we could gaze out at the picturesque small bridges and gentle streams, creating an ambiance that felt both elegant and modern. Wuzhen is absolutely perfect for an early morning stroll; it's wonderfully peaceful and beautiful before the crowds arrive. Next time I visit in autumn, I'll definitely swap the hotel's breakfast buffet for breakfast at the floating market. It would be a delightful experience to soak up the sun and truly savour Wuzhen's charm there.

My room was on the ground floor; the window directly faced a wall when the curtains were open, with only a small window looking out onto a shared patio. This room type wasn't entirely as depicted in the booking photos. Overall, it was decent. The positives include a convenient central location for easy access, L'Occitane toiletries (a nice touch, typical of a boutique hotel), and both the room and bathroom were quite spacious. The set-menu breakfast was also quite refined. As for drawbacks, the small window offered poor ventilation, the bed was immediately visible upon entering the room, and there were quite a few mosquitoes on the ground floor. Overall, it offers good value for money compared to similarly priced rooms within Wuzhen.

Had a wonderful stay. The hotel is perfectly located inside the Wuzhen Xizha Scenic Area. I booked a package online which included breakfast, accommodation, entrance tickets, and shuttle transfers. Upon arrival at the reception hall, showing our booking quickly sorted out our tickets. We then took the scenic area shuttle directly to the hotel, marking the start of a fantastic trip. The hotel lobby is both grand and elegantly classic, and the hotel itself is quietly nestled in one of the best spots within the scenic area. The staff verified our identities, which meant we could freely enter and exit the scenic area throughout our stay. With our access cards, we could hop on a shuttle anytime, as the hotel even serves as a convenient shuttle stop. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. Looking out the window, we had a lovely view of a lotus pond, adorned with lotus leaves, scattered flowers, and various lotus pods. It was incredibly relaxing. The L'Occitane toiletries were a delightful touch. The only minor drawback was the air conditioning; it was quite noisy, even on the lowest setting. This is definitely something that needs attention. Breakfast was a definite highlight. We enjoyed leisurely sampling a wide variety of local specialties. Guests also have the option to book the scenic area's special 'zaochake' (morning tea) if available. But even without it, the hotel's breakfast spread is incredibly rich and satisfying. Overall, it's an ideal choice for families traveling with both young children and seniors.

A complimentary on-demand shuttle service is available to all scenic spots. The stunning infinity pool was a huge hit with the kids, who had an absolute blast; from the poolside, you can watch boats drift by on the river, a scene as picturesque as an ink wash painting. This hotel genuinely hits all the right notes for families traveling with children! Returning to Wuzhen, I can't help but marvel at how unchanged it is from 13 years ago. The Hangzhou government has done an excellent job preserving it! This time, I booked Zhaoming Academy, drawn by its No. 1 ranking for scenic views, and it truly delivered. **Environment:** Zhaoming Academy is located in the West Scenic Zone, relatively close to the exit. Downstairs, there's Shusheng Lamb Noodles (the price, 38 yuan a bowl, is the same as 13 years ago!), with generous portions of flavorful meat. Thumbs up!👍🏻 It's a very short walk to the Muxin Art Museum, just 5-10 minutes. Since Wuzhen has very few tourists in the mornings, giving it an ancient, secluded feel, we spontaneously decided to extend our stay for another day. However, we were a bit disappointed that Zhaoming Academy was fully booked. **Service:** The front desk staff were very helpful and answered all our questions. Breakfast is available downstairs, though it was a bit basic. The wontons had thick skins and sparse meat filling. (We later found out that the breakfast at Zhensui Hotel was similar, so it seems to be a standard for Wuzhen.) **Hygiene:** Spotlessly clean! Our family of four stayed in two separate rooms, which allowed for privacy. Each room had a TV, so the kids could watch cartoons while the adults enjoyed documentaries – it was very comfortable! **Facilities:** Compared to Shuixiangyi Inn where we stayed the next day, Zhaoming Academy definitely surpassed it (at the same price point). Not only does it have a comfortable tea area downstairs, but also a scenic waterfront area. Its proximity to the entrance makes it convenient for getting anywhere.

It was only by staying here that I felt I truly experienced the essence of Wuzhen. Starting the day with a traditional morning tea, I got to savor both the tranquil and leisurely daytime atmosphere and the vibrant, bustling nights. Truly a perfect trip. **Facilities:** The family room came with two TVs, perfect for allowing adults and children to watch their own programs without bothering each other. **Environment:** Our window overlooked the lively water market and a traditional opera stage. **Service:** The front desk staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, patiently answering every question we had.

The most pleasant surprise during my stay at Wuzhen Jintang Mansion was meeting our butler, Xiao Shen! From the moment we arrived, his thoughtfulness was evident everywhere – he proactively confirmed our parking spot, handled our luggage efficiently and carefully, and even took the initiative to introduce us to the hotel's antique pieces, each with its own story. This instantly made us feel a deeper connection to this historic mansion. Throughout our stay, whether we needed recommendations for Wuzhen's sightseeing routes or wanted to find an authentic local restaurant, Xiao Shen always provided incredibly practical and helpful advice. Upon check-out, he thoughtfully reminded us to take all our personal belongings, even checking the weather forecast in advance and wishing us a safe journey. This kind of friendly and attentive service made our entire Wuzhen trip feel incredibly warm and comforting. While the ancient charm of Jintang Mansion is truly unforgettable, Xiao Shen's service added an extra layer of warmth to that memory. He absolutely deserves a huge thumbs-up!
