Amazing Stay with Exceptional Service I recently stayed at DiShang Hotel , and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The room was spacious, spotless, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the view from the room was breathtaking. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

It is a very nice resort for families with young children. We got upgraded to family room n we all sleep well. We got a king bed & a queen bed in this room. My children love the children area with starry light, tent, sofa. We enjoy every second in the resort by particulate in the activities. The food is also delicious.

We stay at 75幢，乌将军房 nearby乌将军庙. The homestay very clean & all amenity is provided. Love the room design, old and vintage. Love the view from our homestay! Breakfast is delicious 😋

So pleasant and sweet, thank you for not dismissing me with ‘you can find the information if you just scan our WeChat!’ The room provided was gorgeous and Wuzhen Tong’an inn is huge. It was really nice to wake up amidst the sounds of washing dishes over lapping water. Wonton shop opposite the room over the canal. The water canals do not smell, and air was crisp (until the day-visitors arrive and they mostly smoke). Love the mahjong rooms that stick out over the water. This inn is situated close to the entrance of Xizha (West Scenic Area) and we were so charmed we never made it to Dongzha (east area). If you need reentry to xizha within 24hrs, scan your face at the hotel reception before exiting xizha. Their in-house restaurant was delicious! Also would suggest a very early morning walk (30min before sunrise), come back for the hotel breakfast, then head out again for morning market (早茶客). There is a family mart about 100m away if you need anything in the middle of the night. Wuzhen xizha is made of 2 long parallel sides flanking the canal. The side where tongan inn is on is a straight path, so do stay on Tongan inn side if you prefer flat grounds and need to get somewhere further quickly. The opposite side has more bridges to climb but is very pretty and has more corners to explore. If you are with elderly, this side is not recommended because of the climbing. The bridges also do not have railings and are always congested once the night crowd arrives close to sunset. But amazingly nobody fell into the river as far as I noticed. The crowds are really insane at night. The best time to enjoy xizha are really reserved for hotel guests staying inside xizha from closing time to before opening time. Wuzhen was great thanks to our accomodation. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love this hotel - from the hotel grounds, the rooms, service and location - just perfect. Within wuzhen - just steps out but yet quiet and serene. Rooms were spacious and luxurious. we booked a driver through the hotel back to hongcun and the hotel porter not just helped with our luggages but accompanied us to the visitors centre where our driver is waiting, helped us load our bags, told the driver to take care of us as we are foreigners and do not have local numbers and to drive us safely. He waited until we got into the car and drove off. I cant recommend this hotel enough.

Location of the hotel is really near the entrance of Wuzhen Scenic Area. The room was big and clean. Water pressure in the shower could be better but other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a day of exploring. The amenities, such as free Wi-Fi, fitness center, pool, restaurant, were top-notch and added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast, scenic views, or any other notable feature, which made the experience even better. Our stay at the Wuzhen Tong’an Inn was nothing short of delightful. This review is specifically for Wuzhen Tong’an Inn, not the Waterside Resort. We were fortunate to have encountered a helpful lady at the visitor center who informed us that our original booking didn't face the Wuzhen grand canal but instead their own small private canal, which wouldn't offer views of the ancient boats. She assisted us with an upgrade to the Tong’an Inn, which provided not only beautiful scenery but also a prime location right at the heart of all the happenings. All Wuzhen guests head to one place for the breakfast buffet, which, conveniently, was right at our hotel. This was a significant advantage as the original booking would have required a 20+ minute walk, especially inconvenient in the rain and cold. Our room was a blend of ancient Chinese style, with fragrant old woods, and a modernized living quarter complete with a hot shower and smart devices. It was impeccably clean, providing a perfect balance of traditional charm and contemporary comfort. Everyone in Wuzhen was incredibly friendly. Special shout out to Mr. Ling, who helped us with our heavy luggage bags. He was courteous, professional, and extremely helpful. It's unfortunate that we only booked two nights here. We would definitely love to stay longer in the future.

It was our wedding anniversary so we wanted to have a cozy trip to a town we had not been to. Did some research and found Wuzhen and decided on Wuzhen Clubhouse.  We knew the pricing would be higher to be inside the visitor zone so it was mainly to take advantage of the location of the hotel. For the price, it is basic and aged. The room is exactly as you see in photos for the listing. Because the hotel  is in a historical building, there is no lift if you stay in a second floor unit.  With a stay inside the visitor area, you can normally have unlimited access to go in and out of the area, whereas if you stay outside then you are limited to the number of access. You can also remember to call and buggy to take you longer distances from the hotel and from certain spots; they just ask you to show proof of stay like your hotel key card. Otherwise you pay per ride at 10 RMB which is not cost efficient.  It’s quite humid and rainy for most of the year so since it’s stone and wood construction, it is vulnerable to be run down easily.  Since we visited in October, it was cool and slightly rainy but the temperature in the room was pleasant with the windows open or with the air conditioning on.  I imagine it could get quite hot in summer so this is something to keep in mind.  Breakfast is either in the hotel or you receive a voucher to a breakfast spot in the town. It’s a very full breakfast either Chinese style or western.  The staff are friendly and patient. This is the highlight of the hotel.  When you arrive in the visitor center, you can confirm your check in and your luggage is transported directly to your hotel. And when you depart, the same process in reverse is arranged for you.  We then called a Didi car to leave and the driver picked us up outside of the visitor Centre. You can take a regular yellow taxi in the line in the same area. The price is only slightly higher when you call a car but the car can be much nicer so I think it’s worth the 20 RMB extra to go to the high speed rail station (to go back to Shanghai).  As I said, the price is high for what you get at this location so do some homework and make sure you know what you are looking for.

The second photo of the Chinese New Year was taken in Wuzhen. How did the hotel choose this place? It should be fate. I first looked for the famous Wusi Hall in Xizha (probably called this). I read the reviews and found that some people commented that the hotel was suddenly out of service and switched to this place. I searched it and it really met my requirements. Then there was another zero negative review, so I was even more curious. Let's comment on it. The housekeeper will contact you in advance to tell you where to park and pick you up by boat (given once each). The value-added services of the room I booked are for your reference: 1. Free tickets to Xizha Scenic Area (4 tickets); 2. Free tickets to Wu Village Sightseeing Tour (4 tickets); 3. Free first Minbar; 4. Free fruit in the room; 5. Singing bowl/handpan morning sound experience (enjoy after reservation) 6. Reserve VIP parking space, free parking fee; 7. One cruise experience when entering or leaving the store (available between 09:00-16:00) 8. One hotel breakfast/cruise breakfast experience (experience time is 7:30 or 8:40) 9. Butler service; 10. Afternoon tea in the room (14:00-16:00). This hotel has only 17 rooms and three related Chinese restaurants. Except for breakfast, this hotel does not provide food at other times. Room facilities: The only shortcoming is that the air-conditioning motherboard cannot be controlled. One day I found that I turned on the cold air-conditioning and could not pick out the two words of heating. I was also puzzled. This can also disappear. Breakfast: The set meal gives you a choice, which can be full~ The taste is remarkable. If it is not enough, you can order it again without paying. The yellow croaker noodles are bland and oily, the beef vermicelli soup does not taste like beef, and the salty soy milk is not delicious. Everything else is pretty good~ I stayed for three days and basically ate breakfast once. Hygiene: There is sticky stuff on the toilet, and there is still dust in the invisible corners. Service: The service is really good. This is perfect. Foot bath tub, afternoon tea, everything is prepared for you. I said I wanted to wash clothes, and the housekeeper reminded me that the central point was not very clean, and gave me laundry detergent and clothes drying rack ~ I always responded to my requests ~ It's quite good ~ Summary: This hotel is very quiet, but it is at the end of Wuzhen. If you want to visit the entire West Gate of Wuzhen, it may take some time ~ but it is very close to Wu Village ~ you can visit it twice, and my husband is also very satisfied. Although there are shortcomings, it can be tolerated.
