Urumqi Saybag District Hotels

Stayed here for the second time on the last night of my trip before flying back to Beijing. See my review from the first time, the week before - also posted below. Good location - it's in a mall so plenty of food.and shopping options. Lots of great restaurants in the surrounding streets. Short taxi ride to the main attractions and airport/stations. Staff friendly and helpful - from the reception desk to the cleaners. Room modern and comfortable. Air con worked well - not all Chinese hotelsmhave these switched on in Spring but this one did. Breakfast was good and had a wide range of mostly Chinese options. Overall, a great hotel and I would book this as first choice if I came back to Urumqi.

My stay at the hotel was great. The staff were really nice and helpful, and one of them even tried to talk to me in Tagalog, which was a nice touch even though we mainly used English on the WeChat app for translation. The room was a bit small but cozy, and the hotel's location near the railway station and across from a shopping mall was convenient. Overall, it was a good experience and I would consider staying there again.

We booked a hotel on our way back to Urumqi after completing our Northern Xinjiang Grand Loop. Since we had a two-day stay, we wanted a convenient location. This hotel is close to the Provincial Museum, the Provincial Art Museum, the Provincial Science and Technology Museum, Hualing, Hongshan, and other attractions. It's also close to major shopping malls for daily needs and easy access to authentic Xinjiang cuisine, which perfectly suited our needs. The hotel service was excellent. The security guard at the entrance enthusiastically came to help with our luggage. We were in a hurry to go out for dinner, and he even brought iced mineral water to our friends who were waiting. Our luggage was brought directly to our room. The room was clean and tidy, and the amenities were perfect for a short stay. Any issues we had were promptly addressed, and the breakfast was quite generous. The 29th of this trip was my birthday, and the front desk lady even prepared a small gift for me. It was so heartwarming and I'll definitely be back.

This is my third time staying here. It's very close to the Chinese medicine hospital. It will be there in a few minutes. There are many ethnic restaurants nearby. There are many buses, which is very convenient. The hotel is very clean and quiet at night, not noisy at all. The service is also very good, and most importantly, the price is cheap. I stayed in many big hotels around. To be honest, this one has the best value for money. Hygiene is the same as a big hotel. Mainly because it's cheap. I thought you wanted mineral water, but it turned out to be free. I checked out half an hour late and was not charged a penny. Really considerate and satisfactory hotel. Worth coming

I stayed there for two days and had a very good experience. The staff were very enthusiastic. The service provided by Xueshan at the front desk was very good, and the room aunt was also very enthusiastic. The room was very comfortable, the mattress was comfortable, and the air conditioning was at the right temperature. The room also had floor-to-ceiling windows with a great view. The breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. There is also a laundry room and gym on the 6th floor, which is very good. Wanda Food Street is also nearby, which is very convenient. It is highly recommended!

We took a metro from Urumqi Airport to 道桥站。here is actually a Grand Baaza. From here you may take a taxi to the hotel. It’s only 2km , we choose to walk. It’s took us 40 minutes. By walking the to hotel building , the exterior doesn’t look so grand . We have a friendly staff to check in for us. Surprised us. That’s nice & clean smart room. All closing windows , lights, music play can instruct 小度， to perform it🤭. Another surprise was the house keeping delivered us a foot spa at 9pm. And that’s a nice food street near the hotel building buildings. We are very happy for a 3D2N stayed. Wonderful & comfortable. Thank you. .

Super convenient. Near to railway north exit. Comfortable bed. However, The bathroom floor must have some rubber or anti slip in the whole bathroom! I had a terrible fall on my departure flight day which I break fall with arms and legs and avoided injury to head.

This hotel is top quality. Worthy of 5 star standard. Just built in 2024, everything was brand new. Front desk receptionists were all so professional and hospitable. We felt so at home and comfortable that we stayed for 6nights. We were offered an abundant breakfast, evening tea and late supper. We had 70 inch tv with movie channels. There is a complementary laundry room. The Japanese style toilet was a bonus. Bus stop is across the road. Walking distance to Hong Shan Park, Peoples Park, Xinjiang Museum and Saybad Shopping district. Highly recommend any visitors to Urumqi to this wonderful hotel.

The hotel is a little bit far from the city center, however the amenities and facilities were in excellent condition. The bathroom and equipment was complete and very, very clean. The overall furniture’s were beautifully designed. There was one thing that I want to point out, which was the strange smell in my room which I couldn’t find the reason for. 

Atour Hotel | Great stay experience I stayed at Atour Hotel on this trip, and the experience was amazing! I must share it with you. As soon as you enter the lobby, you will be surrounded by a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The front desk staff are enthusiastic and professional, and the check-in process is fast and efficient. The room was even more surprising, it was warmly and tidyly decorated, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, lying on it felt like falling into a cloud, and you had a good night's sleep. The lighting in the room is also great, with sunlight pouring in through the windows, making me feel particularly relaxed. The bathroom is clean and the toiletries are of good quality. The hotel's breakfast has a rich variety and tastes great, meeting the tastes of different people. Moreover, the restaurant environment is elegant and the dining process is very pleasant. The location is also excellent, with convenient transportation around, making travel very convenient, and there are many places to eat and shop nearby. Atour Hotel is really a hotel that makes people want to come back again after staying here. I highly recommend it to everyone!
