Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommended! Our stay at Grand View Hotel was excellent from start to finish. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making check-in quick and easy. We were given a lovely room with a great view, which was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was modern and spotless, with high-quality toiletries and a spacious shower. The hotel’s location was ideal—close to the main attractions but still quiet enough to relax. Overall, everything was well-organized, and we had a really enjoyable stay. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel!

I booked a single room, so the room is relatively small, but it is very clean and everything is good. The hotel is right inside the International Grand Bazaar, so you can reach the Grand Bazaar as soon as you go out. The hotel does not have breakfast, and there are delicious food all around. A very unique hotel. I wanted to stay for two more days, but unfortunately it was full today, so I had to find another one.

Every time I travel, Atour Hotel is definitely my first choice. The room is clean and tidy. Because it is not the peak season, I upgraded the room. There is a laundry dryer. After putting it in, write the room number, say hello to the auntie and go directly to the front desk to get it. I accidentally spilled chicken soup on my clothes during dinner at night. When I went to wash it, the laundry room was full. I directly entrusted it to the front desk. When I checked out, my clothes were clean. I have to give a thumbs up here. There is also airport pick-up service. I love it.

Cleanliness and location are great, as well as the price. But where this hotel lacks is service. There was a MAJOR hiccup in how front desk handled my situation. I came back at 4am after a night out and lost my room key. The front desk really struggled to find my room number. After about 5 minutes of searching, she found my room and handed me a new key. Except IT WAS THE WRONG ROOM. I walked into a room that had 2 complete strangers asleep in the room. They were startled and I closed the door immediately. Went back downstairs and had to ask the front desk for another key, which the lady searched for another 5 minutes before finally finding my room. Needless to say, this is BAD. You CANNOT give someone’s room key to a stranger. That is an absolute sin in the hospitality industry. I hope they will retrain their staff and learn from this review.

I saw some bad reviews online and was a little worried, but after arriving, I found that my worries were unnecessary. The room was very clean and the shower water was very comfortable. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and the check-out procedure was also very fast.

I had a great experience at this hotel! The room was nice and clean, they supplied new water bottles every day and the bathroom was modern and nice. The beds were comfortable. The curtains blocked most of the light from the window in the morning. I could hear noise outside the room sometimes but it didn’t disturb my sleep. The staff were very helpful and kind. Even though they didn’t speak much English and I don’t speak Chinese or Uyghur, we communicated using my translator app. The restaurant downstairs looked excellent too but I did not eat there.

All the staffs were so friendly and helpful, especially the front desk. We were attended by pretty and cute Xiao Mu (I hope I got her name right) She makes us feel at home. She is so polite. We like room 211 just besides the laundry room, easy for us to do our laundry. Unfortunately, the air-conditioning breaks down. I hope they fix it by now. We were moved to Room 611. We tried to switch on the TV, but it was not working. Informed the front desk, and was told they will send someone to check, but that someone never came. Anyway, whether the TV works or not it’s not so important for us. Maybe we didn’t know how to switch it on. What matter is when your guests informed of something is not functioning, it has to be looked into as soon as possible. Sometimes, this little issues can make your guests either happy or upset. A little room for improvement 🙂 If ever I am back in Urumqi, I will stay at this hotel again. Keep it up Aifeng Hotel!!

The hotel is old and the decoration has been around for a long time. The house smelled of mutton. The bathroom door was installed upside down, with the shower outside and the toilet inside, which was very inconvenient. Coffee: Free coffee coupons, but when the coffee shop opens at 9:30 in the morning, many people who got the free coupons are queuing up.

Excellent stay. Walking distance to international bazaar. Staff very helpful in booking our taxi to airport. Breakfast varied and good. Washing machine available. Clean. Good amenities.
