Consiana Vang Vieng Hotel

Consiana Van Vieng is perfectly located in VV main street. While hotel is a bit old and would need a renovation overall experience is satisfying: front desk is very friendly and professional, room bedding is of good quality, shower also… Swimming pool is available but would also need renovation. Breakfast is on rooftop with a pleasant view. Overall good choice especially considering value for money , recommended 👍

There was a huge cockroach in the bathroom. I used tons of toilet paper to catch it then splashed into the toilet. The room is enough large but the bed is not flat, maybe springs are half broken. The room key is also large. I didn’t carry it out, just kept in the room without locking. When I was checking in, the receptionist only gave me one breakfast ticket. I said my booking is two breakfast, but they said only one can give me without reasonable explanation. Water drain sound of next room is super noisy.

Disaster! The room smelled very musty. This was caused by the mold that is visible in the bathroom. It is black mold, which in my opinion is harmful to health. Secondly, I booked a room with a mountain view but received a view of a wall instead. Thirdly, this was the worst breakfast I have ever had. There was only instant coffee. There was not even any tea. There were only two types of fruit. There was not even an omelet or scrambled eggs. In a backpacker hotel 50 meters away, which was significantly cheaper, I received fresh coffee and tea as well as scrambled eggs. Never again

I had a great stay at this hotel. Everything was well organized, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my 3 nights' stay in Consiana! Kudos to the hotel staff who provided excellent service! They helped me with the laundry service and booking of train tickets too. Located off the main street away from.the noise, the access to Consiana is via the lobby of Central Hotel. Lots of good food options nearby. What I enjoyed most during my stay was the delicious breakfast with porridge, noodles , fried rice and fresh fruits. Breakfast is served on the rooftop (8th floor). U can see the hot air ballooning and para motors soaring over the limestone mountains. I woke up early one morninv to see the hot air balloons taking off right in the field opposite! Highly recommended to stay in this hotel for the views, breakfast and service! There is a swimming pool too, which i didn't have time to use. There are simply too much outdoor activities to enjoy in Vang Vieng!

DO NOT STAY HERE! If you read the reviews you will see that many people complain about items being stolen from there bags. I have a strong suspicion this is the cleaners and instead of cleaning they are going through people’s bags. Upon check in we were warned by the receptionist not to leave any valuables in our room and to take them everywhere with us. Which is not what you want to hear at check in. Anyways luckily we listened to the receptionist as we had seen concerning reviews before staying here. Without surprise our bags had been gone through. Luckily nothing was stolen from us as we were smart enough to remove our valuables. However, still leaving an unsettling feeling knowing items were moved in our bags as they got searched, they even left the zipper in the incorrect position after as seen in the image. Despite this issue there were also a lot of ants in our room and the room wasn’t properly cleaned any time the cleaners entered the room as there were stains left on the counters and floors and I expect the cleaners were too busy trying to steal stuff. Despite these issues it is not the worst place and the location is good but I think if they just got new trustworthy cleaners then this place would be so much better.

The hotel is not too hard to find. The location is excellent. We got a room with mountain view and we could see some hot air balloons when they were landing as well. The rooftop breakfast area is amazing, with beautiful views of the city and surroundings. The shower got hot water, the aircon worked well and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The mattress we got was terrible, we could feel every spring underneath.
