Hilton Vienna Waterfront

Great value for money! Although it's not in the city center, the subway access is convenient. The river view outside is lovely, and the glass of wine I had in the evening was delicious. A peaceful and enjoyable experience.

The hotel is right by the Danube, which is fantastic for watching the sunset and getting some great photos. The breakfast was absolutely superb with a wonderful selection of cheeses, fruits, breads, and even pickles!

The location isn't great, and there was ongoing road construction. Taxis couldn't drop us off directly at the entrance, so we had to get out and walk across a cordoned-off area to reach the hotel. Also, adding breakfast was a bad deal; it definitely wasn't worth the price. You're better off walking ten minutes to a McDonald's outside.

The breakfast was rich and the hotel is located by the Danube River. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the room wasn't strong enough, and the water temperature in the shower kept fluctuating between hot and cold!

The rooms are spacious, and while the furnishings are a bit dated, they're well-maintained. However, the bathroom floor was very dirty and black. The hotel is located by the Danube River, which is quite pleasant in the summer, and it even has a small beach and a pool. Its location is a bit isolated, quite far from the city center. An Uber ride to central attractions costs between 25-30 Euros, and it's a 15-20 minute walk to the nearest metro station. During my three-night stay, I observed that most guests relied on Uber for transportation. The front desk staff member who checked me in was quite cold, but other service staff, such as those in the restaurant, were good. Breakfast was extensive. Dining options nearby are scarce; there's only one supermarket within a 5-minute walk. A shopping mall is about a 15-20 minute walk away.
