"Booked this hotel for 2 nights in Vienna. Location wise, it's not the most convenient. It is not within walking distance to either the main train station or the city center. The closest metro station is about a 5-7 minutes walk. It is predominantly a residential area but there are some good and cheap eateries near the metro station. The hotel is part of a sports club (hence the name Sportshotel). There is a restaurant in the hotel which serves great food at reasonable price. The hotel also has a sauna which is free for guests of the hotel to use but I haven't tried it. The room itself is quite spacious with the usual amenities minus a kettle (so can't make coffee or tea in your room)! Not sure whether this is typical for all hotels but other hotels I've stayed in neighboring countries all have kettle. It is very clean with daily cleaning. It has a big window which gets quite a bit of sunlight and a safe to store valuables."

"I booked this to be close to the CAT train - the fast train to the Vienna airport - because I had an early morning flight. It is not a luxury place but it is very close to the u-bahn station and the train. Also close to the mall and the area is lively - close to a grocery store in the mall. The proprietor was very nice -he knew I was leaving early and had some breakfast for me before breakfast was officially open. I would recommend it as an inexpensive place to stay just a few stations from the main tourist places in Vienna."
