HH MatthiasExcellent property in a quiet neighborhood and just 2-3 subway stops from Vienna's top attractions. The team at Weltwien was proactive, helpful, and accommodating, even emailing me months in advance to provide me with useful information for checking in/out outside of staffed hours. Checking in myself was a breeze, instructions were sent via Whatsapp. Special mention for Natascha who was a delight to communicate with.
The apartment was spacious (large balcony), extremely clean, beautiful, and well equipped (full kitchen with pots and dishwasher). The bathroom was lovely and had a towel radiator. The TV was smart and easy to use. Weltwien is now one of my favourite apartment hotels in Europe! Only complaint was that the bedroom could be brighter (more lights).
Laundry rooms are available on 2 floors, with detergent and ironing board provided. Highly recommended.

Although cleaning services weren't provided for our two-day stay, the reception staff were incredibly friendly and proactive in resolving any issues. The separate bathroom and toilet were also a plus. We appreciated the ample cooking utensils and tableware, which made it possible to cook our own meals, and there's even a dishwasher! Personally, I think it would be even better if basic essentials like cooking oil, salt, and sugar were provided, as it feels a bit wasteful to buy everything new for a short stay.
While it's a bit far from the city center, the tram stop right in front of the property makes getting around very convenient.

Everything is clean, including an ironing board, dryer, iron, microwave, stovetop, and all the necessary utensils, a coffee machine with capsules, and a dishwasher. There's a washer and dryer in the common area. The city center is easily accessible by tram. There are supermarkets nearby where you can buy everything you need for breakfast. We were very pleased.

The rooms are generally okay, and the location is excellent. The same cannot be said for the meager breakfast, which costs 19 EUR. There isn't even scrambled eggs or anything similar, just a single hard-boiled egg. The mini bread rolls aren't worth the price either, and neither is the selection of cold cuts, etc. You're better off going next door, where there's a fantastic bakery (the kind that really spoils you). Since coffee/tea is free at the hotel anyway, spending 19 EUR on the hotel breakfast makes little sense, at least for me...

GGuest UserThe rooms are all suites, suitable for family travel. However, the single bed is a sofa bed and may not be comfortable for adults to sleep on.
There is a microwave in the hall, and you can buy bread and milk for breakfast in the small supermarket behind the hotel.
There is the subway opposite, and it is very convenient to get out of the airport, even if you are dragging your luggage.
There is also Central Park opposite, which is suitable for walking and has recreational facilities for children. We even played for several days and never got tired of it.
The overall evaluation is still good. The hotel service industry is very good.

The apartment was exceptionally clean, which immediately set a positive tone. The Studio Executive room was thoughtfully laid out and came with a well-equipped kitchenette, making longer stays very comfortable. The shower water pressure was strong, and the elevator access to all floors was a big help, especially when travelling with luggage. Having an onsite launderette with both washer and dryer was a real bonus and added to the practicality of the stay. Overall service was efficient and professional.
Comfort & facilities:
The bed was firm, which I personally appreciated, though the pillow quality could be improved as it felt rather flat. Airflow in the room was slightly stale at times, so better ventilation would enhance comfort.
Areas for improvement:
The open shower design would benefit from at least a modesty curtain, as it currently feels quite exposed. Additionally, the hand soap dispenser by the sink was cracked and could not dispense soap, so it clearly needs replacement.
Conclusion:
Jimmy’s Apartments Emerald delivers very well on cleanliness, functionality, and practical amenities. With small enhancements to ventilation, bathroom privacy, and soft-furnishing details, it could move from a solid stay to an excellent one—especially for business or extended visits.

The small apartment had a slightly uncomfortable bed, but the bathroom had excellent shower pressure and temperature.
We were slightly inconvenienced upon arrival because the room we had been assigned smelled of cigarette smoke, even though smoking is prohibited. The cleaning staff was going to clean it again, but we asked if we could move. They immediately moved us to a slightly smaller room, but we were better served.
The kitchen in the new room didn't work; one burner wasn't working, and the other was even broken.
But since we had already moved in and only noticed it late at night, we didn't want to ask them again. There was no Wi-Fi.
The staff was very friendly and quick.
