Jaz in the City Vienna

I stayed at Jaz in the City Vienna, and I couldn’t have asked for a better location. The hotel is right in the heart of Vienna — everything is within walking distance: about 10 minutes to the Museum Quarter, 5 minutes to the main shopping streets, and there are several supermarkets nearby. They even have a rooftop bar with great views, perfect for a relaxed evening drink. I was lucky to get a room on a higher floor overlooking a quiet garden and the spires of nearby towers. Every night I slept like a baby, and every morning I woke up to a view that filled my eyes with joy — a truly peaceful start to the day. The staff truly made my stay memorable. John (or Johann, as they’d say in German) was incredibly kind and helpful — he even hand-wrote local insider tips for bars, restaurants, and famous Viennese dishes. The reception team, including a lovely young woman and a gentleman, were equally welcoming and attentive. They really made me feel at home — a true “home away from home.” The room was stylish, modern, and full of personality. I especially loved the musical touches — there’s even a disc player, and you can borrow vintage records from the lobby, which adds such a fun, nostalgic charm. If I had to mention a couple of minor issues, the water pressure in the shower wasn’t always stable, and housekeeping could definitely improve. If the housekeeping matched the reception’s outstanding service, the hotel would be absolutely flawless. Overall, I highly recommend Jaz in the City Vienna — so much so that I’ve already booked my stay for next spring. I can’t wait to go back!

Everything was perfect. The location of the hotel, the means of transport nearby, the food was very good. A very nice atmosphere in the evening on the hotel terrace. I recommend! very close to many tourist attractions!

Great location, close to the metro. The place has a modern, stylish vibe. Our room was on one of the top floors, so it got a bit noisy at night because of the rooftop bar. The room was clean, though the wallpaper was peeling a bit in some spots. Breakfast was amazing – there’s something for everyone, even a separate vegan section.

Huge breakfast with both westerns and Asian options. Very curated interiors both in the rooms and in the common areas. Every room is equipped with a turntable, guests can borrow unlimited vinyl records from the reception to play in their own room, a very nice idea!

A recommended hotel with lots of style. The staff was helpful and kind. The shower is transparent, so keep that in mind if it bothers you. The room is a bit too dark.
