WEIThe hotel is located on the top of the mountain, the environment is very good, the hotel facilities need to be improved, the door locks are not easy to use, and the sink facilities are defective. Excellent view of the Kandy Lake, great English style breakfast, top class accommodation with friendly hosting by the manager. If you come to Kandy, you must choose this hotel, no cap~

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ganthera and the staff were friendly however the room itself could have been improved. For example, there was distinct black marks on the walls and some mould in the bathroom but we understand the climate is humid (also some dead bugs). Bed area was clean and satisfactory and we slept well.
The front door is locked at night so beware if needing to leave early - staff are not attentive to this.
Whilst we did not use the pool area, the view was nice and pool looked good. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would probably not come back.
