The whole family traveled and booked a suite. The room was large and clean. The first alcohol and drinks in the minibar were free. Thumbs up. The hotel has a super beautiful view. It is a little far from the center of Kandy, but it is very quiet. The lobby is beautiful outside. The swimming pool is not heated and a little cold. Breakfast is a la carte system with many choices. But there are some places that must be complained. First of all, the suite has a jacuzzi, but it was not filled with water in advance. It was very dirty inside and the water was very slow. It took an hour to clean up. My waist was about to break. The water was filled for two and a half hours. It was dark when the water was enough. There were mosquitoes everywhere. It was not used at all. Bad review. The second point is their dinner, which starts at 7 o'clock. We were the first table to order at 6:50 on the first day. It was already 8 o'clock when the food was served. It is not friendly to travel with young children. We decided to go out for dinner the next day, but someone called at 9 o'clock in the evening to ask if we would like to go to the restaurant for dinner, which directly woke up the children. . .

The villa-style hotel is located on the mountain. The room has its own swimming pool. The overall environment of the hotel is great! Especially the dinner in the restaurant is highly recommended, with 9 local Sri Lankan food, equipped with a dedicated chef and music performance, and the price is a little expensive.

One of the most amazing properties i have stayed at. Both Bandhara and Madu, the butler and chef, were amazing. They were attentive, responsive and spot on..great work guys..very impressed.
The property does full justice to the $. The location, the chants from the Buddhist temple in the valley create the utmost serene atmosphere. Every amenity is top end and every detail looked after. Will visit again for sure and will highly recommend..cheers

The most expensive hotel in Sri Lanka, I was full of expectations, but was quite disappointed. First of all, there is a one-way road on the way up the mountain, and it is dangerous to reverse when there is a car passing by. The hotel has only six rooms, including breakfast and dinner, but the variety is too small, and it is a bit not full. Moreover, the dinner and breakfast are served very slowly. We were the only Chinese family that day, and we couldn't find anyone when we checked in, so we waited for a long time. The environment is very good, but it is too troublesome to go up and down the mountain, the service is average, and the hotel atmosphere is not very good. I don't recommend staying here.

I booked two twin rooms on Trip.com . After arriving at the door, there will be a special person responsible for bringing the suitcase into the check-in hall and then sitting and waiting for the front desk to complete the procedures (with welcome drink orange juice). The room is fully equipped and the decoration is simple and hygienic. There is a large stain on the sheets of the bed. It is recommended to travel or prepare disposable sheets. The hotel also has a swimming pool. The swimming pool is relatively clean. The scenery is very good. The sound insulation effect is good. I recommend everyone to try it.

Excellent view of the Kandy Lake, great English style breakfast, top class accommodation with friendly hosting by the manager. If you come to Kandy, you must choose this hotel, no cap~

Guest UserIt's a bit far from the city center, and there aren't many dining options nearby. It's roughly on par with domestic hotels like Atour or Ji Hotel, so don't set your expectations too high. The breakfast has a decent selection, but it probably won't suit Chinese palates. For this area and standard, I guess it's acceptable.

aiwasukiThe views are unbeatable: The lobby and pool face the Mahaweli River directly. Sitting by the river in the evening with a drink, watching the sunset, was absolutely the highlight of my entire Kandy trip.
The pool is a definite plus: That infinity-edge pool stretching out to the river is incredibly photogenic, and the water is very clean, making for a wonderfully comfortable swim.
Great dining: Both the breakfast and dinner buffets offered a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties and Western options. The freshly made omelets and Sri Lankan curries prepared by the chef were delicious. I even tried a local Sri Lankan delicacy, a fried egg 🍳, which was quite tasty.

Kiana MendozaAbsolutely stunning, giant compound with an extensive history! They even offer a history walking tour but unfortunately there weren’t enough people signed up to make the tour happen. If you’re looking for a “colonial” stay, this is a great place. I recommend just walking around to see it for yourself. It’s also right on Kandy Lake, so it’s a nice walk (and not too far from the Kandyan Culture Center and the Sacred Tooth Temple
Meals were good, but service sometimes is a little messy. Buffet was missing things like tongs or a cloth over the tray handles (which were hot to touch), but there’s a lot of servers walking around so I’m sure they’ll be able to do double-checks on this

Guest UserI absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great, and the views were nice. I only wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the peaceful atmosphere.
My room was cozy and relaxing, and I especially loved the bathtub which was perfect for unwinding after a long day. The infinity pool was another highlight with gorgeous ocean views, though it was a bit on the cool side. I do wish it had been heated, but it was still a beautiful spot to relax. Room service was great too! Good selection and reasonably priced for a hotel.
Cons:
On my last day, I treated myself to a 90-minute aromatherapy massage at the spa. Unfortunately, I’d rate the spa a 5/10. Living in Thailand has definitely spoiled me with incredible massages, so I admit my standards are high! Still, I think the spa could use a bit of a refresh. The rooms smelled a bit old and weren’t very visually appealing. It was also quite cold during the body scrub and massage, which made it hard to fully relax.
Breakfast was okay, but I wish there were more Western-style options available.
Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. Everything about the hotel itself was lovely, I’d just skip the spa next time!
