Also, take note that after 11:30 PM there is no room service, and food delivery platforms may not be available either due to closures or limited riders/drivers at night. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a great experience."

"Stayed at Hotel Suisse and overall the stay was okay. The check-in process was smooth and straightforward. One thing to note is that the elevator only goes up to the 3rd floor, so we had to take the stairs to the 4th floor, but that wasn't really an issue for us. The main inconvenience was the shower. It was quite complicated to use and the water temperature was inconsistent, with sudden bursts of cold and hot water, which made showering a little uncomfortable. We also requested some extra mineral water and were surprised that there was an additional charge for it. It's a small thing, but something worth noting as many hotels usually provide a couple of extra bottles upon request. Other than these few points, the stay was fine for our short visit to Kandy."

Special thanks to the chef who was always asking about our food preferences in advance🙏🥰 We enjoyed everything: the views from the pool, rooms, restaurants. Pool bar in the evening with nice music… the staff was very attentive and welcoming. We felt ourselves as guests and as being home at the same time… special thanks to mr. Manjula who was supportive via WhatsApp while planning our trip to Kandy and also when we arrived he was there taking care of everything during our stay🙏 Also he organized birthday cake for me , which was really great surprise… I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely take my next group there"

"Extremely quiet and peaceful hotel high up in the hills above Kandy. The gardens and swimming pool are worth going there in their own right. The staff will carry as many tables out to the garden as needed. We had a very early start one morning and asked the hotel if they could make up a breakfast bag for us to take with us - they said they'd open the kitchen up for us so we could eat a proper breakfast! The food was good, especially the breakfasts. the evening meal might be restrictive for some as it's a fixed menu with a small choice of main meals. Understandable given the size of the hotel but something to be aware of."
