Kandy Myst by Cinnamon ★★★★★
"The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the room size is suitable for three guests. The overall atmosphere is very pleasant, with a welcoming ambiance throughout the property. The staff are friendly, professional, and highly attentive. The rooftop pool offers a wonderful setting with a great view, and the food is excellent—particularly the dinner served at the rooftop restaurant. Overall, the hotel offers very good value for money considering the quality of service and facilities."

Taru Villas Kandy
"As soon as you enter the door, it feels like you have entered another world. The biggest feature of the hotel is that the dinner is so delicious. The cooking skills and taste are comparable to those of a five-star chef. Anyway, I like it 😘"
Jetwing Kandy Gallery, A Luxury Reserve
"Although it's not in the city center, it's right next to the lake, so it's really quiet and the service is good; it's probably one of the best in Kandy."
Hotel Suisse Kandy - since 1890
"At the hotel, we were put in an adjoining room, which was very audible; we could hear coughing from the neighboring room all night."
Oak Ray Regency
"Everything is perfect All staff are so freindly and do their best Only problem is in rainy days we hav not hot water for bath"
Lake Villas Premium Kandy
"Please note that this is a single room, not a villa. If you need two beds, you need to book two villas. Otherwise, you'll only get one room, and the others won't be available. The host mentioned a consent requirement, but it wasn't included when you booked. The environment is beautiful, the room is clean, and there's a kitchen."
Melheim Kandy Villas
"Very kind and relaxing atmosphere in this charming little hotel in the mountain side nearby Kandy. After a stimulating day in Kandy its a perfect spot to just relax and enjoy the sounds of birds and the pool on 3. floor with great scenic view and beautiful sunset. Also tourist friendly food and good rooms. The staff was very helpfull and professionals. Would highly recommend! Niklas & Julie, DK🇩🇰"
Hotel Casamara
"The best location close to the temple and to the show. The staff was very nice and help us with everything. The room is beautiful that let us feel the vibe of Sri Lanka. Recommend."
Golden Sky Hotel & Wellness
"The staff was very friendly und helpful anytime. We had a large breakfast und got a free ride to the train station. The room was clean and the view from the balcony was beautiful! We ordered a Tuktuk in the evening to get in the city centre and it was very cheap und fast. We definitely recommend this place. Thank you!"
Fox Kandy by Fox Resorts - Luxury in the Mist
"What's good: The hotel is secluded, beautifully maintained grounds, a wonderful view from the top, plenty of aesthetically pleasing photo spots, and a relatively well-appointed room. What's bad: Since the hotel is located at an altitude, unfortunately, we didn't get to experience the joys of the pool (after being caught in the eye of a cyclone on the way, we would have been happy to swim and warm up in the warm water, but the water in the pool was cold; this is a major drawback given that swimming is one of the main activities/entertainments on the property). The hotel restaurant could use some training for its chefs: when you're hungry, as we were, of course, any food seems delicious, but ours, alas, was not. Our selection wasn't particularly sophisticated, but rather poorly prepared: Mushroom cappuccino, garlic prawns, chicken biriyani, two lion beers. The mushroom soup was bland, with no hint of mushrooms, the shrimp were severely overcooked, and I practically cried when I ate the chicken, even though I asked the waiter "no spicy, please." Not only was the chicken so dry it tasted more like snakeskin, but the spices burned my mouth. Perhaps we were just "lucky" with the food, but unfortunately, dinner for less than 11,000 Sri Lankan rupees wasn't impressive. Breakfast, however, was decent (omelet, beans, some meat, grilled vegetables, fruit, pastries, fruit shake, water). The staff was polite, and everyone tried their best, both at the hotel and in the restaurant. Yes, the road to the hotel isn't for the faint of heart: the road is poorly paved in places, and there's a steep switchback uphill. But if you're a seasoned hiker and even a season-long biker like us, the road to the hotel won't be too daunting. Recommendations for the hotel: We were missing a clothes dryer. For those who use the pool or get caught in heavy rain, this is a necessary item. Please provide a replacement."
Hasthi Boutique Hotel
"Stayed two nights when we explored Kandy. This hotel is new, with wonderful rooms and a pool. Managed and owned by a nice family. The breakfasts were superb. One of the mighty were tempted to eat dinner too, we did not regret that. Highly recommended."
The Golden Crown Hotel
"I think it was good. It's such an amazing experience."
Queen's Hotel Kandy - 160 Years of Heritage & Luxury
"The hotel itself is very centrally located. The building exudes a historic charm that makes it special. The only downside: the bathrooms are in need of renovation. But the best thing is the staff. Everyone is very attentive. We had forgotten our passports in the hotel safe and were quite distressed. We contacted the hotel, and Kuma helped us immediately. He looked at the documents right away and offered to take everything to our next accommodation by taxi. The whole process was very professional. He even made a list of all the forgotten items and stayed in touch with us until we had everything back. We would like to thank Kuma again most sincerely."
Earl's Regency Hotel
"This hotel is one of the best in the area, and they even offer breakfast and dinner, which we unfortunately didn't know about beforehand. The breakfast was plentiful, the mountain views were stunning, and it's not far from Kandy. Overall, a very comfortable stay."
Atelier Kandy - Boutique Art Hotel & Gallery
"We come here regularly for the monthly karaoke nights, which are always a ton of fun - or to spend some time in the tranquil courtyard. An absolutely lovely place. Highly recommended if you're looking for a respite away from the busy-ness of Kandy without traveling far into the hills!"
Grand Serendib Hotel
"The soundproofing is poor, and it's not good value for money. Maybe that's just how Sri Lanka is. Hotels that are safe and hygienic can be rated as five-star in second-tier cities in China, but the facilities and environment are incomparable."
