Hotels in Kandy Central, Kandy

It's a bit far from the city center, and there aren't many dining options nearby. It's roughly on par with domestic hotels like Atour or Ji Hotel, so don't set your expectations too high. The breakfast has a decent selection, but it probably won't suit Chinese palates. For this area and standard, I guess it's acceptable.

The hotel has a total of nine rooms, an English-style villa with a swimming pool. The food was quite good, and I especially appreciated the tea selection, the brand Peekoh Tea, which had a sweet aftertaste. The curry and rice for dinner were both delicious and beautifully presented. There was some noise from insects chirping at night and trains passing after 6 a.m., so there was some noise. For example, room #1 is right next to the restaurant corridor, so the soundproofing was average. At under 1,000 yuan per night, I think the value is much better than the Eleven Hotels in China. This villa is part of a chain with about nine locations. I hope their business continues to grow.

A wonderful stay with absolutely breathtaking views. Wherever you look, you’re surrounded by rolling mountains, and the grounds are beautiful with lots of native wildlife; you really feel at one with nature. The service was exceptional throughout. All staff were attentive, kind, and genuinely eager to help. A special mention to the reception team, especially Jenovia, who was incredibly friendly and helpful, showing us around and making us feel very welcome from the start. The hotel is also very family-friendly, with a small play park and thoughtful touches like towel animals from housekeeping (Ravi) that made our little girl’s day. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, including both Western and Sri Lankan options. A few very small improvements (such as having bacon readily available, colder milk at breakfast, and ice with poolside drinks) would make the experience truly five-star, but these are minor details. Rooms were clean and comfortable with all amenities provided, and overall the level of service really stood out. If you’re looking for stunning views, a peaceful setting, and excellent hospitality, this is a fantastic choice and one I’d happily recommend.

We booked a room with a view and it certainly delivered. We had a spacious balcony and could see so much, happily have sat outside for hours and luckily even the sunrise was watchable. Service was really good and staff were extremely helpful. Room was very spacious, bath was amazing and also came with the view. Other facilities we made the most of included the infinity pool, which again came with the view. It was difficult getting to the hotel but that’s what you expect when it’s on a mountain. We would stay again!

I absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great, and the views were nice. I only wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the peaceful atmosphere. My room was cozy and relaxing, and I especially loved the bathtub which was perfect for unwinding after a long day. The infinity pool was another highlight with gorgeous ocean views, though it was a bit on the cool side. I do wish it had been heated, but it was still a beautiful spot to relax. Room service was great too! Good selection and reasonably priced for a hotel. Cons: On my last day, I treated myself to a 90-minute aromatherapy massage at the spa. Unfortunately, I’d rate the spa a 5/10. Living in Thailand has definitely spoiled me with incredible massages, so I admit my standards are high! Still, I think the spa could use a bit of a refresh. The rooms smelled a bit old and weren’t very visually appealing. It was also quite cold during the body scrub and massage, which made it hard to fully relax. Breakfast was okay, but I wish there were more Western-style options available. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. Everything about the hotel itself was lovely, I’d just skip the spa next time!

On the outskirts of Kandy, the top of the mountain. The road up the mountain is steep and rugged, but after entering the hotel, it is small and exquisite, full of human touch, the restaurant overlooks the Kandy Valley, the scenery is very good. It is worth mentioning the service attitude: We bring a child, and we add the extra cost of 15-20 knife in basically all hotels, but here we are exempted and a child breakfast is also given. Especially to highlight is the evening buffet, originally wanted to order a single point, the manager repeatedly persuaded, in the mentality of not giving them trouble to barely order the self-help, the result found to be an unexpected surprise. Just... It's really quite meticulous and delicious. Especially after eating a few days of five-star unflattering buffet, it was absolutely a surprise here. The owner’s own house was changed, Sri Lanka’s local tyrant, two Land Rover. At the top of the mountain, the top floor bar is really view360. The only problem is that the curtains of the roller blinds are almost shaded. Chef is super good! ! ! Chef is super good! ! ! To be honest, the room is just like that. There is not much room for it. Kandy has a good choice for one to two nights. The chef is super, Md can't help but mention it! The pool is good, but it is too cold to get into the water.

The room looked clean and big, but it smelled very bad, and the air conditioner was very powerful! The buffet at our own expense was really great, and the price was not expensive. The food was better than in China!

Everything was good, but there was no hot water when it was really cold, and smoking shouldn't be allowed in the restaurant; it was very difficult sitting there, otherwise it was a decent accommodation.
