W15 Hanthana Estate Kandy

Hantana Kandy|2.12km from Ceylon Tea Museum
W15 Hanthana Estate is an elegant bungalow set within beautiful grounds. The accommodation is really comfortable and the views are stunning. Equally importantly the staff are exceptionally welcoming and enthusiastic about making your stay comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn about and experience the Sri Lankan food and natural world. Special mention must go to Eraj and Manjula who were excellent at looking after us throughout our 6 night stay. We couldn't have felt more important, our comfort and happiness was clearly important to them. Also executive chef, Viraj who spent a lot of time with guests to make sure they were enjoying their stay and getting the food they enjoyed. We experienced many different types of Sri Lankan dishes, as well as more western dishes. The produce was beautifully presented and fresh and tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a Sri Lankan cookery demonstration led very proficiently by chef Madushanka. Banuka, the nature ranger was so enthusiastic to share his knowledge of the local area with us and other guests during the jeep safari and hiking trips. Suragna did an excellent job of keeping our room comfortable and clean, and was so respectful. I also book a massage and facial with Udani, a visiting therapist. There is not a permanent spa at the hotel but a table will be set up in a vacant room or your own. This is the only extra cost. She performed a bit of a miracle with her deep tissue facial. I looked years younger afterwards. There are of course other people on the W15 who we didn't know so well, in the kitchen and gardens front office. Sorry not to mention them by name. But the important thing to say is each person we met had a warm smile of welcome and was doing a very good job of keeping the hotel looking gorgeous and guests feeling happy. The all inclusive was very generous. We ate and drank far more than we needed. There were Chilean wines, Australian sparkling wine, cocktails, beers and spirits. A decent coffee was available and a good tea menu.

This is one of my favorite hotels, located halfway up the mountain, the two butler service is very intimate, breakfast is also very good. We are at the hotel at 8 o'clock in the evening, dinner is sent to us in the room, the room is very large, the balcony is behind the whole mountain, I like it very much.

The environment and sanitation are very good, the service is very good, very in place, that is, there is a big bed and a small bed in the room. We have a boy of less than nine years old, and a girl of sixteen years old, a total of six people, first Asked to add 20 dollars to say that it is all-inclusive, and later said that it is only bed money, you have to pay another ten dollars for breakfast, because we are all women and children, they are a few big men, we dare not say more, give money directly It is the only one in the entire journey that meets the most pitfalls!

Originally booked Grand, who knew that it was cancelled without reason before check-in, it was really speechless, and then I was forced to change this one when I was playing. This one has a good environment, but the location is too biased and there is nothing around. Originally, Kandy is the mountain city, eating is not convenient, The overall view of the top of the mountain is not as good as I booked before, but I can't see anything, because I went out to eat and passed by, the grand location is excellent. The room facilities are old, the roof is covered with foam, the service is not bad, the price is high, and the price is not high. Breakfast is also ordered.

Great, rest assured, although the road up the mountain is a bit tortuous, but everything is worth it

8.4 Day In the morning, wake up in the wonderful howl of birds, a viewing room in a mountain village near Kandy, Sri Lanka, which is clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. The owner of this house is hospitable, kind, and hardworking, capable, and tasteful. Seeing the family photos of her family, she has three children, her eldest son, who has graduated from college in Australia, the second child is a daughter, 21 years old, working as a clerk in Kangdi, and the third is a son. I'm in school. At 5:45 in the morning, through the window, I heard the rain in the mountains. The rain stopped soon, and then there was a crisp bird song, a woodpecker sound, some unknown squeak, occasional dog barking, etc. I couldn't wait to get dressed and run to the balcony. On the balcony, look out over the white Kondi city Looking back is close to the natural mountains and green trees, feel the fresh air, the stars in the distance, through the lights of the leaves.

On the outskirts of Kandy, the top of the mountain. The road up the mountain is steep and rugged, but after entering the hotel, it is small and exquisite, full of human touch, the restaurant overlooks the Kandy Valley, the scenery is very good. It is worth mentioning the service attitude: We bring a child, and we add the extra cost of 15-20 knife in basically all hotels, but here we are exempted and a child breakfast is also given. Especially to highlight is the evening buffet, originally wanted to order a single point, the manager repeatedly persuaded, in the mentality of not giving them trouble to barely order the self-help, the result found to be an unexpected surprise. Just... It's really quite meticulous and delicious. Especially after eating a few days of five-star unflattering buffet, it was absolutely a surprise here. Don't say anything else, recommend The photo has not been processed, the light is not very good, it is actually better than the photo
