Ringhotel Forellenhof

My first visit to this family-run hotel was during a three-day conference. The hotel is very quietly located in the countryside and consists of a main building and additional half-timbered houses just a few meters away, which also house hotel rooms and holiday apar**ents. Great service for campers - you can also park your camper on a lawn and enjoy the culinary amenities of the hotel. The rooms were recently renovated and are modern and cozy. There are definitely stylistic differences between the main building and the annex; a feel-good a**osphere prevails everywhere. There are ponds with water lilies and croaking frogs around the property. The conference rooms are modern and professional; only the acoustics in the high conference room should be improved. The catering during breaks and the high-quality self-service coffee machines contributed to a good working a**osphere. The cuisine is regional and of very good quality. We were able to take part in the barbecue event at the adjoining brewery once - very successful! The Schnuckenbräu is brewed in the hotel's own brewery - it is a rather bitter beer that I really like and there is a great opportunity to take it home in different packaging. Despite the frequent problem of a shortage of skilled workers, there was always enough staff. They were all friendly and helpful without exception. I also think that the Forellenhof is a pleasant place to go for a leisurely trip with the family or as a couple.

A Chris**as vacation that I can only wish for everyone. From arrival to departure a stay you will not forget. We came as strangers and left as friends 😊 A super well-run family hotel where the whole staff pulls together. The senior, a trained chef, like his son with a top-class kitchen, also has his Welsh Black cattle breed, which are also processed in the house. We had an amazing program, carriage rides with Andrea, she had the horses under control. After an hour's drive, there's a break, a walk and then delicious pea soup, mulled wine, punch, coffee or soft drinks. There was freshly smoked trout for lunch on Chris**as Eve. Super delicious from the junior in the evening. I would have liked to work with his crow (I retired after 53 years in gastro, myself a chef). And every day a new highlight like a walk with the senior to his Welsh Black cattle. No matter where we were, food was always taken care of. Planning for a return visit although just back home is already underway. I had a single room on the second floor. The hotel does not have an elevator. It was an attic room with a hatch window. Otherwise everything was ok, only the shower head should be descaled. The hotel was well occupied with vacationers.

We only stayed here for an overnight stop on the way to the sea, and it was perfect for that. The service at breakfast was super nice and there was a super cute travel cot with duvet for our baby.

Geweckt um 8h vom Bohrhammer weil das Zimmer gegenüber renoviert werden musste. Und das obwohl wir nachgefragt haben und es hiess: vor 11h keinen Baulärm. Vielen Dank aber ich kenne bessere Weckrufe. Ausserdem ist das Frühstück eher Standard minus und in meinem Zimmer gab es Löcher in der Wand und Spuren von entfernten Möbeln. Wer gern von einer Bohrmaschine direkt in den Ohren geweckt werden mag, empfehle ich dieses Hotel wärmstens. Für alle andere empfehle ich einen grossen Bogen um dieses Hotel

Das Hotel war sehr sauber, das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren sehr hochwertig, alle Mitarbeiter freundlich, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Die Forellengerichte und die Rindersteaks waren wunderbar! Einen Hotelbetrieb bei laufender Baustelle zu führen ist sicher schwierig, Sauna wegen Baustelle nicht vorhanden und zuerst hätte man uns ein Zimmer mit Aussicht auf die Baustelle und Gerüst vor dem Fenster angeboten - aber wir konnten es klären und bekamen ein anderes Zimmer.

Sehr schönes Hotel, familiäre Gastlichkeit, viel Sta***ersonal sind die Erfolgsrezepte des Forellenhof. Wir fühlen uns jedes Mal sehr wohl dort und genießen das Restaurant und das großartige Frühstück. Nachdem der Forellenhof sein Angebot massiv erweitert und einen großen Spa-Bereich neu baut, hoffen wir, auch in Zukunft dort einen sicheren Hafen auf dem Weg durch das Land zu finden!
