The biggest pool I ever seen, rooms are clean and nice, specially the wind comes from the sea to the room balcony simply a time killer and enjoyable. Food was amazing, we enjoyed all their dishes with no fals to be find. Staffs members are very friendly and helpful

This was our 2nd visit to club hotel dolphin & it will not be our last, not only is this resort beautiful it has everything, a very well equipped gym, a fantastic spa, absolutely enormous pool, tennis court, badminton court, table tennis, snooker & pool tables & for the less sporty beautiful grounds in which to laze the day away under the beautiful Sri Lankan sun. The rooms are very spacious with the biggest, most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, the rooms are cleaned daily, our room boys lakmal & sunander were amazing & left us some beautiful towel art as well as keeping the room spotless & stocked with drinking water. The food is amazing in both the main dining hall & waves restaurant as well as in the 2 snack bars, I am the fussiest of eaters but I always found plenty to eat, all of which was delicious, club dolphin really does have a very talented brigade of chefs, & the service from the wait staff is beyond compare, waiters amilla, anton, thiwanka, sanjeewa & marisinghe really went above & beyond. There's 3 great bars the aqua bar in the main lobby has excellent nightly entertainment, flippers bar by the main pool is excellent for a refreshing drink while relaxing by the activity pool as is the sands bar which is located by the quiet pool, the bar staff are amazing very friendly & very talented we had some amazing cocktails & a multitude of various other drinks , there's to many bar staff to name them all but indika, suresh, dhanu & keerthi really made sure all our needs were catered for. For those that like to be entertained whilst on holiday the look no further the club hotel dolphin for they have the greatest animation team I've ever come across anywhere in the world, imantha, tharindu, imal, sanka, kalindu, sashika, imashi, Rosa & shara jani, really do work so hard to keep guests entertained with fun games by the pool in the daytime & put on the most amazing shows at night, we have really taken this team to our hearts & they will be friends for life. On the whole both our stays at club hotel dolphin have given us our greatest holidays & we cannot wait to go back.

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in and certainly the best in Sri Lanka. Great food, excellent staff, great gym, pool and ambience.we stayed for 3 x nights in a chalet very close to the see front; it was very clean and well appointed. We changed from BandB to full board.once we arrived; this was $38 pppn, which wasn’t unreasonable but it’s worth checking that it’s not more economical to book FB or AI beforehand than change once there. After a couple of weeks exploring across Sri Lanka, this hotel was a luxurious way to unwind. I highly recommend it; special mention to some of the great staff who were particularly helpful during our stay; Grumman, Dulakshi, Maheshini and Upul.

Our 1st visit to Sri Lanka and we were very much looking forward to our stay at Club Hotel Dolphin, upon arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our room. We were staying in one of the superior rooms on the 3rd floor, there is no lift only for staff to use so if you have any mobility issues make sure you request a ground floor room. We had a few issues with the cleanliness of the room, however after a quick chat with reception this was quickly rectified. The pool area and grounds of the hotel are kept immaculately clean and EVERY single member of staff we encountered was super polite and friendly. Animation team work hard by the main pool every day to get you involved in the many activities but are super understandable if you just let them know you want to chill on your sun lounger. We were lucky enough to be there for NYE, and oh my word what a night it was.....absolutely incredible. The amount of effort that went into making sure the night was a success was phenomenal and honestly, it was one of the best NYE's we have had in long time. A huge thank you and well done to all involved. Food - now this is the reason I can't give 5 stars, whilst the dishes we tried were delicious it was always luke warm at best.....I know this has been mentioned to the management team and I really hope they listen to the feedback. I appreciate it is a buffet setting and there will always be a period of time the food is stood but even when we went for breakfast/lunch/dinner as soon as the restaurant opened the food was never hot. Such a shame as you can see how much effort goes into creating the dishes. Overall we had a wonderful week in Sri Lanka

It was a memorable dan in the hotel. we feel comfortable now and going through a pleasant experience with everything provided by club hotel dolphin.we specifically liked the service of animation team . Kalindu and imal put a smile in everyone face and also wanna mention about dancing of animation team

We recently returned to Club Hotel Dolphin for the second time and love it so much we’ve booked a third visit for April 2025. If you are considering booking CHD, please don’t think anymore, just book it, you will not be disappointed. We were treated extremely well last year but this year even better. Everything about the hotel and its truly amazing staff really is wonderful. I’m so sorry I can’t name everyone so here are a few who really deserve an extra special mention, Sanjeewa and Dharmapala in the restaurant, Lasitha at the pool, Tharindu and Imal from the animation team and executive chef JJ. ALL of the staff are just brilliant, so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Food is really good, fresh and plentiful. The hotel and grounds are spotless and very welcoming. Sri Lanka is simply stunning and there is so much to see and do, trust me, one visit is definitely NOT enough. Please book CHD and discover it’s beauty for yourselves.
