"I had a mixed experience at the Best Western in Williamsburg, VA. The hotel’s location is fantastic, conveniently situated near key attractions, which was a major plus. The front desk staff were also accommodating and responsive, quickly addressing our concerns by moving us to a quieter room after a disruptive first night. Unfortunately, the positives were overshadowed by significant issues. On our first night, a group of construction workers were partying loudly in the hallways, making it impossible to sleep. While the room change helped, the new room raised serious concerns about cleanliness. I stepped on a dirty fish hook embedded in the dark carpet, which was not only painful but also required a trip to the pharmacy for a tetanus shot. This suggests the room hadn’t been properly vacuumed or inspected. Overall, the great location and helpful staff bumped my rating slightly, but the disruptive noise and hazardous cleanliness issues made this a largely disappointing stay. I’d hesitate to recommend this hotel unless improvements are made.Rating: 2/5"

"The room was very spacious, with a kitchen and two bathrooms, a large bed, and a sofa bed. It might have been due to the rain, but the room was quite dim. There were three of us, so we used the sofa bed, only to find there was no blanket. The front desk promptly brought one over. The sofa bed wasn't very comfortable, but it was fine for a temporary stay. Overall, it offered good value for money. We made our own breakfast, and the kitchen was fully equipped."

"It was really bad experience. The staff was not friendly. The room was full of roach, the bed smelled bad and had much hair from another people, bed sheets that appear not to have been laundered between guests. We were checked in late but the room still appeared not clean. So disappointed. We were so tired but can’t stay a night there. Talked to a manager about the room issue and she was pretending agreed a refund but after we left, they never did."
