Hotel Suimeikan

It's close to Yudanaka Station. If you go about 200 meters from the hotel, there's a bus terminal on the Yudanaka side. Shiga Kogen Ski Resort and Snow Monkey are easily accessible. There is a convenience store nearby 100m away, but not many nearby stores are open, so there is nothing much to see. However, you can enjoy plenty of hot springs and an arcade in the hotel. There is also a massage machine so you can have fun inside. The food is buffet style, but I liked the beef nabe for dinner so much. I can't forget, you can have unlimited wine, beer, and sake for dinner!!👍 Most of them are family, friends and colleagues, so there are a lot of elderly people. Enjoy the comfort of a ski resort and a hot spring together If you want to enjoy it, I recommend it!!! The staff were also friendly and nice 👍

I booked three rooms and were placed next to the shared toilet outside the bathhouse. In addition to the terrible smell, it was also very noisy with people coming and going. Later, after negotiation, we were moved to two single rooms on the same floor that were far away from the bathing area and shared toilets. I feel that the space configuration of the entire hotel is not reasonable. The equipment in the room is old; the environmental cleaning work is not very good, and the window frames are visible to the naked eye. The shower head of the bathroom equipment in the room has a small amount of water. I can't comment without having dinner, but there are not many choices for breakfast. Maybe I can't ask for better service at this price. In short, I feel sorry that this accommodation arrangement made my family feel bad.

There was a huge fan downstairs that started starting at three in the morning, making it basically impossible to sleep. Spent a long time in the lobby. The hotel facilities are too old. You absolutely cannot live on the side facing the mountain.

We stayed at Hotel Suimeikan for one night from May 3rd for our wedding anniversary. Since the prices are high during Golden Week, we only stayed for breakfast. For dinner, we decided to go to a restaurant in the hotel and made a reservation at a restaurant called Baden Baden, which was listed on the menu in the room. As I am a pensioner, I made a reservation because they had a reasonable course of 5 dishes for 5,500 yen per person. When the reservation time came, we sat down at the restaurant and were shown a menu, but there was no course for 5,500 yen for the room, and there were no options for a minimum of 5 dishes, with courses ranging from 9,900 yen to 12,000 yen per person. There were other customers there, so we had no choice but to go for the 9,900 yen course, but if the food was delicious, I would have been happy, but it wasn't that delicious, so I wasn't happy. If the prices were going to be higher during Golden Week, I would have been able to make other choices if they had changed the prices on the menu in the room or made it known at the time of booking. I have no complaints about Suimeikan, but this restaurant Burden Burden made our wedding anniversary a bad one. I'm disappointed!

On a trip to Suimeikan Onsen that my family and I had been looking forward to for months, we first ordered cake and coffee at the Evian lobby, then waited for check-in at 2:00 pm. It's not the waitresses' fault. However, the blended coffee ¥650 was served with colored hot water❗️The view was of a Japanese garden, and it was in a good location. However, we were surprised that this is “coffee served to guests of a 5-star hotel” ❓

This hotel is located in Yudanaka Onsen, next to Shibu Onsen. It has nothing to do with the famous Suimeikan in Gero Onsen. The room is Japanese style and spacious enough. The view from the window is also nice. Buffet style dinner has many kinds of menus. There is even sushi and sashimi. After all, alcoholic drinks are free and all-you-can-drink is amazing. The open-air bath in the large public bath has a modern feel with flat stones attached. Immerse yourself in the weakly alkaline hot springs and feel relaxed. Breakfast is also buffet style. In particular, the chewy udon noodles were delicious.
