The environment and service of Banyan Tree are unquestionable and always maintained at a high standard. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain and is relatively quiet. It is close to Lu Village and there are many places to eat. The room facilities are also relatively complete, including incense and tea ceremony. The hotel's food and beverage quality is also good. The housekeeper Eiam added WeChat before the trip and kept asking if there was any service needed during the stay. The response was very timely.

We had a lovely stay at Pig’s Inn - it was sadly just for one night but we really enjoyed it! The staff were very kind and went to a lot of effort to cook for us, even though we were the only guests. Breakfast was especially great. The hot water was not really ‘hot hot’ - just tepid, but the staff did everything they could to fix it. The drains from the bathroom smelt pretty bad - but otherwise the bedroom was really comfortable and everything was very clean. The hotel organised a taxi for 200 Y from Huangshan North Railway, which was great. We then used Didi to order taxis and get to Xidi village and Huangshan mountain, which is great if you don’t speak the language. Thank you for having us!

The hotel is very close to Hongcun and Pingshan, and not far from the town. You can go out to eat local dishes at night. I am not used to staying in private B&Bs, and I think it is good to see this kind of regular star hotel with a good environment. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but the quality is good and not perfunctory. There are no shopping malls in the whole Yi County.
