It can't be helped that it's Otaru in a tourist area and during the tourist season, but the facilities and prices seemed high.
Especially in the annex, you have to cross the road to get to the large hot spring bath, so you can't go there in your room clothes.

Check-in is done at the front desk of my friend in the main building. Check-in and check-out is easy and convenient with the machine. The room is in the annex, and the curry smell permeates the elevator because there is a curry shop on the first floor, but I don't dislike curry so it didn't bother me too much. The bath is also in a separate building, so it may be fine in the hot season, but it may get cold in the winter. It seems to be a convenient location for sightseeing in Otaru city. The room was well cleaned with tatami mats, and we were more than satisfied as we were only staying for a night.

The small room is clean and tidy, there is only one pillow that you can't lie on, and the refrigerator is full. You are asked to change your shoes when entering. When I went out in the morning, I found a plastic bag of towels hanging on the handle outside my door. I took it into the room. When I came back in the evening, no one came to clean the room. Fortunately, we only stayed for two nights. The location is between the JR station and the canal, which is convenient and cost-effective.

The location is good, not far from Otaru Station. It's big and has several shops. It feels like an international youth hostel. The front desk was very welcoming, stored luggage, had wifi, and even borrowed a plug converter.

It was good that I was able to check in right away from Otaru Station, and that it was close to famous places and shops that I wanted to go to, making it easy to move around. Also, the sauna was great!

The room we stayed in in the villa is located near the Otaru Canal. It is very convenient to take a walk near the Otaru Canal at night. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to Mount Tengu to see the night view. The only drawback is that the bed is too hard, otherwise everything is good.
