People who complain about neighbourhood are partially right, because it's indeed not the best (a lot of cheap hostels there). But actually, it is still safe. (It is Japan!) And yes, you get a WHOLE ROOM, and not just a capsule like in another hostels. A young girl like me was completely okay and nothing bad happened during my four days stay there. The staff is friendly. I walked through all the Yokohama by feet, so you can say it's pretty near the city centre

great location near chinatown. train station and convenience stores. cherry blossom trees nearby too.

Nice location

Good location! Good price! It was a small room for two travellers with conditioner, TV, and balcony.

It's scary. In a house in one of Japan's three largest slums, there are drunk people wandering around the first floor.

The room is consistent with the photos, I am satisfied. This is the public area, the women's restroom. Although it is cleaned every day, it smells very bad. I dare not stay there for too long each time. I hope to check the reason for the bad smell. There is a bottle of hand soap and a hair dryer in the bathroom. Two toilets. Although the entire building is non-smoking and no-smoking signs can be seen everywhere, there are still some low-quality people who smoke, so the smell of smoke in the corridor is very obvious when there are many people at night! The only thing I was not satisfied with was the smell in the toilet and many people hiding in the room to smoke. If you have a lot of luggage, it is recommended to choose another place. Because the room is in a small building and there is no elevator. Bathing is charged extra.

I'm traveling in Japan for a month and this was the worst place I've ever been to. The neighborhood is dangerous, like something out of a crime city, the room was really damp and smelled of mold, the shower was paid for, and I couldn't sleep at all, so I immediately booked somewhere else and left. I really don't recommend this place.
