Yokohama Kanagawa Ward Hotels

This is my fav hotel during japan trip. Location is great, just few mins walk from exit station yokohama, with escalator access available. Yokohama is big city with easy access to tokyo, I highly recommend people coming to tokyo to stay in yokohama due to many factors! I chose this room because the size is bigger compared to hotels in tokyo, which turn out to be great! The room has big windows, sofa, enough space to open big luggages. We really find this as huge benefit cz small room really limit your movement. The amenities are available to pick up at lobby area, really convenient. Room is clean, well maintained, modern. Staff are friendly and efficient! Excellent stay overall and I would definitely come back if I go japan again!

The hotel is quite new, just opened in 2024. It is quite close to the train station of yokohama, covered all the way from the train station to shopping arcades to the hotel. You don't even need to have your umbrella if it rains. The hotel is easy to locate. It is quite tidy with all the basic stuffs in the room. You can watch youtube in the TV. The staff are friendly and helpful. One thing I think can improve, this hotel brand (which I have lived in a number of different hotels from this brand) requires room cleaning (even if you decline so) every 3 days (if you live more than 3 days). I don't think it is necessary if the hotel guests do not require so in order to save manpower and be more environmental friendly (which I think the hotel is on one hand promoting). . Overall, I think the hotel is good.

This hotel boasts a fantastic location, just a short 5-minute walk from Yokohama Station and surrounded by convenient shopping malls like New Woman and plenty of restaurants. Having a supermarket open until 11 PM on the ground floor was a huge plus. The room itself was clean, well-equipped, and offered good value for the price. Free amenities were available for self-pickup in the lobby, and they even offer parking coupons, which is great for drivers. However, the language barrier proved to be a challenge. The staff's limited English proficiency made communication difficult, and they were unable to assist with restaurant reservations. Also, our room lacked a view, which wasn't a deal-breaker but worth noting. Overall, the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama is a solid choice for its convenience and value, but be prepared for potential communication difficulties and don't expect stunning views.

If the car is in and out, it will be convenient. The parking lot is in the basement. There are also many 7-11 nearby. The surrounding environment is quiet. The hotel staff understands English a little. Use google translation to communicate with the problem. 

Although the room is small, it is fully functional. Other services are basically free, free hot and cold drinking water, free computer power conversion head, breakfast buffet, very affordable hotel. The service speaks Japanese, so you must bring your own translation software when you stay at this hotel.

Absolutely recommend，My first choice in Yokohama，the staffs,the environment,all of it is great,especially the room, big enough compare to other hotels in Japan. Btw,is very close to Yokohama station, easy to get train.

This hotel is a great budget hotel right in the center of Yokohoma. The place is very close to all the good amenities and are walking distance. You can see the Yokohoma Dena Blue Star Stadium outside and Chinatown is one station away. The room we had was nice. The staff here is very kind, friendly and helpful. The fact that you can rent your own private sauna is the highlight for this hotel. Definitely recommended if you’re visiting Yokohama for a short stay.

The cleanliness was superb, which allowed me, as a female guest, to feel completely at ease and comfortable during my stay. I did find the capsule a bit warm, but it was within a tolerable range. The facilities were also well-equipped, contributing to a very comfortable experience. I would definitely like to stay here again if I get the chance!

All the staff at the front desk spoke English. There was no clock in the room, but they quickly fixed it.
