The hotel is 8 mins its walk from the train station and quite close to the town area. It’s also quite close to the walking trail, which is a nice morning activity. The staff is really nice, allow me to check in before in the morning. Quite lovely stay!

Great size for solo traveller, modern design. Close to station.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We didn’t use any of the hotel facilities and we didn’t eat there. It was just for a base to explore York

Great location, overall a great stay but I strongly object to them adding a 10% service charge on what are already "hotel" bar prices!

Notwithstanding we booked and paid in advance it took over15 minutes to register ! They allowed us to park the car and then told us there was a charge ! Room and bed were small and overlooked the air conditioning units !They must make the car parking charges obvious and highlight them when booking .Stay at the Travel lodge it is cheaper and the rooms cannot be any smaller !

Beautiful area,just on the river. Great location, a 2 minutes walk from the center. I arrived early and they allowed me to store my luggage until I arrived much later. The receptionist was kind and other staff friendly. Rooms were clean and had everything I needed. Recommended.

Local, cleanliness, breakfast was good. Stayed in a single room, which was on the very small side. The shower was extremely small and quite a challenge!!

Great location, excellent room size, everything provided to enjoy our stay, parking at attached ncp safe car park and only £15 with a full day's ticket given for the day after our one night stay, stayed before and will stay again

Lovely hotel and in the centre of york

The transportation is convenient. It is very close to the nearby York Minster and Shambles Street. The service is friendly and cost-effective. You can store your luggage for free.

The urban areas of small British cities are not large. This is an authentic-sized hotel. One side should be by the river. It is within walking distance of major attractions, including the train station, so it is very convenient. The hotel is good in all aspects. The only drawback is that the room I was assigned faces the side of the road where Mill House is located. The cars passing by in the morning were very noisy and I couldn't sleep in. The double-layer soundproof glass may not be used.

The hotel is not far from the Old Town of York. York is not big and you can basically reach all the attractions on foot. It can be reached in about ten minutes on foot from the station. There are Chinese supermarkets and Chinese restaurants near the hotel (the taste is average, the price-performance ratio is about that, just don't expect too much). Room facilities are average and very small. But compared to London for the same price, it's okay. No slippers. No free bottled water.
