The Bay Hotel & Suites

Literally the best hotel on the island. Brilliant staff, attentive, friendly, amenities are incredible. Had a facial, has a private beach, I genuinely had the best time at this hotel and on the Island as a whole. Definitely 100% recommend 👌🏼

I’ll keep this short as much of what I would normally say has been picked up already in other reviews but to confirm … Hotel - excellent with well designed and equipped rooms. Staff - excellent - a very high level of customer service that can not be faulted Location - great … although hotel is on the coast, so good access to beach, you will need a taxi or your own transport to get to the main town. Food - excellent . When we booked it we were told dinner was buffet - which I prefer - but when we got here it was a set menu .. Now after our last holiday when it was a limited set menu my heart sank … but here is different - each day a different 5 course menu and if you are half board like us all is included . Each day had a theme but with a Greek element to it … perfect. But if you stay for more than a week just be aware that the menu is on a 7 day rotation. The Bay is a high quality family hotel so you will get some children staying. We were here in early June so it’s relatively quiet, volume wise, but we did have couples with baby’s who did cry a bit - but that did not spoil the holiday. For us coming from Newcastle with Tui - flight time are great (midday out and back) so Zante is a great location to if you want a beach holiday (not really much more to see on the island that can’t be done in other places…. Boat ride, watersports, Roman temple, wine tasting etc). Would I come back to The Bay … yes I would (but like most family hotels .. maybe not when the schools are off or in central peak season… but that is Not a reflection of the hotel itself ).

The hotel is lovely, quiet at this time of year & the location great. The decor is clean, cool & modern. Rooms comfortable and ours (room 806) had an incredible sea view. The only drawback were the 60 steps we had to climb to get to it! Seriously if we’d been older or not as fit we’d have had to move rooms. All members of the team at The Bay were helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful resort, stunning grounds and beach. Staff outstanding! Felt they were keen to improve on previous feedback, excellent coffee, no lines at breakfast etc. I would say the set menu could have been fewer courses, and a clearly thought out vegetarian option on the main course. We went with our 18 month old baby and they were super accommodating. Perhaps better suited to an adult only holiday in terms of the vibe and facilities [had to keep sticky fingers off the white sofas!] Loved popping across to punta basta beach bar for a change of scene much better than banana beach club.

We have had a fantastic holiday at The Bay Hotel in Zakynthos. When we arrived at the hotel the reception staff were very welcoming and gave us our room key, our bags were taken to the room and we had the wow factor when entering. As we explored the room we did notice that we had no view as there was a huge tree blocking the entire balcony. We went back to reception and asked for another room, the staff were great and quickly found an alternative room that we were happy with. Our holiday has been effortless with the excellent service from all staff. While on holiday my partner found out that he needed to have a gluten free diet and the hotel was simply amazing at adapting his menu at short notice and making sure he had lovely food whilst on holiday. The stand out members of staff for us was the fantastic service we received from Georgia (assistant F&B Manager) Apostollo (F&B Manager) and Demi the waitress. The whole team have been amazing and have made our holiday so special. The Bay Hotel is a modern setting in a quiet part of the island. The food and service is absolutely excellent. Thank you we will return!

Modern hotel with the best sunbeds in the world!!!! Great rooms with comfy beds, big shower and everything you need. Loads of coat hangers too! The pool bar service was great and not overly priced. Pool right next to the beach so you could have the best of both worlds. Taverna Familia and Kouki’s resto’s both great and in walking distance. Supermarket next door to Taverna Familia. Only thing missing was an egg station at breakfast. Definitely recommend this hotel for a peaceful relaxing holiday

The Bay is a really lovely hotel. Very beautifully and at a stunning location. The staff is very sweet , friendly and provide good service.Breakfast has a great variety, nice coffee, and a lot of fresh fruits. The lunch and dinner are of top quality. Dinner is set as a 5 corse set menu which we are not used to, but we really enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this hotel, it is ideal for relaxing and revitalizing.

The hotel looks very nice and always clean, the staffs are very polite and kind. Breakfast food and selections are OK, the only problem is that towards the end of our stay, it was very busy, food was running out, difficult to find a table. We had dinner there in our first night and it was too expensive for the food, you can get way better (and cheap) food in Argassi (next town). Location wise, is a VERY quiet area, nothing much around, you do need a rent a car, bike or quad, which can be arrange my the reception. One thing to take in consideration is that right at the start of the season (May), some restaurants are still not open yet. In summary… hotel is nice, with private beach, staff friendly, overpriced food and drinks, quiet location. We had a great time, but for sure is NOT a 5 star hotel.
