My husband and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. It’s like a little oasis! Our (very spacious) room was tucked away above the spa, where it was very quiet. They kindly gave us a free room upgrade, so we had a huge in-room hot tub which was a nice surprise! And the balcony was the perfect spot for watching the sunset. The pool area was lovely, with comfy loungers/beanbags and lots of greenery. And the QR codes make it easy to order drinks or snacks straight to your sun lounger. The spa was also great, and you can book the pool/sauna for just the two of you, which is a nice touch. We booked half-board and the food was excellent. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice, and you can also order a dish from the menu at no extra cost. I was very impressed by the evening buffet. I find that buffet dinners can be hit-and-miss, but everything was delicious, especially the Greek dishes. There was also live music by the bar on a couple of nights, which added a really nice atmosphere. Special shout-out to the evening bartender who made the most fantastic cocktails! We also ate at the Nobile rooftop restaurant one evening. We had the seven-course tasting menu which was very nice, but there was quite a lengthy gap between the courses. We were there over three hours – had we known it would be that long, I think we probably would have booked an earlier table. But it was a great experience nonetheless, and the food was wonderful. The final word goes to go to the staff, who were amazing. The reception team, the porter, the waiting staff, the spa team – everyone was so friendly, smiley, and couldn’t do enough for you. I’d definitely recommend Contessina Suites for a chilled-out break; we had the best time.

Very close to the airport, but this is the smallest compliment that I could give. Many thanks to the manager Marili, you were incredibly nice to us, for sure you made our stay even more special! Many thanks to the rest of the staff, the cleaning team, breakfast team, night shift, you All were amazing!!! Of course I have to mencione that the rooms and all the hotel were extremely beautiful, a lot a lot of quality and attention to the detail in everywhere, from the bedrooms until the swimming pool area, passing by the hallways, everywhere literally. We visited at the end of August as a family of 4. We booked a private pool room in the annex on an all inclusive base. First of all, let me say that we had a fantastic time. I will try to be objective. We are a French/British family and we have done similar holidays over the years… This is a very chilled hotel. A real mix of Europeans and no crazy loud entertainment until 1 am. If you want to party, it’s probably not for you. We booked this hotel in particular for the private pool, and it did not disappoint! We were in the annex ( room 904) and we had the sun on the pool most of the day. With a little wildlife in front which was great as we got to see hummingbirds. We loved the pool. The highlight of the holiday. I would say that the private pools in the main building were far more overlooked and not as much sun exposure. We never had to fight for a sun bed. Plenty by the pool and the beach. The beach is pebbles and I would recommend some beach shoes. The water is lovely and warm and plenty of fish to look at. The all inclusive food was good for a buffet. A lot of choice. Sea food, fish, Meat, Greek food and the usual fries and sausages ect… One dinner included at the a la carte restaurant which was nice . The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom is only separated with glass doors so the toilet situation was rather funny at times. As a mother of 2 , I have given up on privacy a long time ago so it didn’t bother me. The walls are very thin though. We were lucky that our neighbours were quiet people. The staff were lovely. Dimitri and his Team at the restaurant were so warm and friendly. Same goes for the pool staff. Always a kind word for the children. My daughter insisted on saying goodbye to everybody as she had such a blast chatting with everyone most days. There was only one thing that was an issue for me. As mentioned we were in the annex wich is a 5 minutes walk. I knew about it and I have no problem with that. I was expecting a walk between the olive trees to go to the main building, but it turns out that we had to walk on the road which I didn’t love. To be fair, there is a car to take you up and down if you don’t want to walk. I normally would let my 11 years old walk back to a hotel room on his own, but in this case it felt unsafe. Saying that I would still choose the annex over the main building as it was much more private.
