Zhangjiakou Chongli District Hotels

We enjoyed staying at Crowne plaza . Special mention to the Executive chef Scott Zhang who made sure we got our meals as how we wanted .The front office Paul Zhang and Joseph were really helpful. The restaurant staff are really spot on too. Breakfast was amazing ...a buffet with all sorts of food for the three days we stayed the food items were different. There's alacarte service for the rest of the day which is ok. Very clean rooms and despite the temperature dip the room was heated well. Enjoyed the skiing that's close to the hotel .Lots of activities to do.We couldn't ask for a better Christmas. Will definitely recommend people with families to enjoy the hot tubs on the 10th floor after a day of skiing you can relax at the Steam and Sauna . Great service and overall the Staff are well motivated.

During the Spring Festival, I stayed at the Foothills Hotel with my family for three nights. Let me tell you about my experience: First, the advantages: 1. As a ski hotel, the hotel is very good. It takes skiers into consideration everywhere. The changing rooms in the lobby, the receipt of express delivery, the storage of ski equipment, etc. are all very considerate and meticulous. Needless to say, the ski resort in Yunding, I personally feel that Chongli is TOP1 2. The hotel staff has a very good service attitude and is very patient. They are responsive and respond quickly to problems. The cleaning lady is enthusiastic and proactive, and the maintenance engineer is super considerate. Thumbs up👍🏻 3. The hotel's breakfast is well-deserved, with a wide variety of dishes, especially the Western dishes, which are very well made. I recommend ”Napoleon” 4. The hotel's ski instructor is really professional, very good, and has good skills. He can really teach you things, especially their star instructor ”Xu Shipeng”, who is super awesome. I highly recommend it to everyone Now let's talk about the shortcomings: 1. The hotel's decoration is dark, and it is indeed as the Internet says that it makes people feel depressed after staying for a long time, especially the corridors of the guest rooms, which feel very depressing, and the lights in the room are also dim. During the Spring Festival, the hotel had almost no holiday decorations, and the atmosphere of the Chinese New Year could not be felt. 2. The hotel's heating is too hot. We called the engineer to turn off the heating twice, but we still need to open the window at night. In Chongli in winter, sleeping with the window open, you can imagine that we didn't need to cover ourselves with quilts for the first two nights 😓 3. The window of the room is next to the tatami, without any protection. We live on the 8th floor. Fortunately, there are no very young children. If there are children, the room is hot and the window is open, it is easy to fall down. I hope the hotel can pay attention to it! 4. The so-called hot spring bath is just a few showers + a bathing pool. Don't compare it with the hot spring pool. It's just a simple bath. I personally feel that if it's not a free ticket, you can just soak in the hotel bathtub. There is no difference. 5. The family room has only one bathroom and a washbasin. It's really a bit difficult to wash in the morning and evening. You need to queue up. To sum up, as a pure ski hotel, the Foothill Hotel is good and worth recommending, but as a hotel for vacation or family fun, it's really ~😓I hope the hotel can learn from the suggestions and there are hidden dangers, and it will get better and better!

5/5 stars! Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional service from Jason Wen and Tom - their warm hospitality made us feel right at home! We were even treated to a complimentary room upgrade, complete with a stunning balcony view! The hotel's convenient location, just a 10-minute drive from the town center, made exploring a breeze. While shopping options nearby are limited, the HU WA restaurant on the hotel's first floor is a must-try, serving delicious dishes at affordable prices! Breakfast at the hotel was impressive, with a wide variety of options and top-notch service. We highly recommend this hotel for its excellent staff, comfortable stay, and great location! A special tip for snow ski/board beginners: this resort is an excellent place to start! However, consider renting equipment in town, as prices are nearly half compared to other ski resorts. Although the rental fees are higher here, the equipment and clothing are relatively new, less than a year old.

Facilities: The room is great. We booked a duplex on the second floor. All the requirements were met. The room is large and very suitable for family travel, but the wifi is not very good. Hygiene: Very clean and satisfactory, but the waiting time was too long when checking in. It is relatively cold in this season. There is no place to stay with the elderly and children, which slightly detracts from the score. Environment: Good Service: The service staff are very good. It is always a long time to call the front desk or customer service number, and no one answers. If you are in a hurry, you can only go to the lobby to directly express your needs...

I stayed at a nice local hotel conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Fulong Snow Park. While my room was slightly dirty, it wasn't enough for me to raise a complaint; it felt as though the cleaner might have been in a hurry. I attempted to order room service, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone. Breakfast offered a mix of Chinese and Western dishes, but I found it lacking compared to other hotel breakfasts I've experienced. One downside was that there was no way to book tickets for the snow park directly through the hotel. Perhaps there was a method, but it wasn't available in English. At Fulong Snow Park, I encountered difficulties as the English-speaking window had no staff who could assist in English. It was quite challenging to navigate everything. Fortunately, I managed to find an English-speaking ski instructor named Alex, who I highly recommend. Although this is unrelated to the hotel, I felt it was worth mentioning!

The hotel location is very good. Facilities: The hotel has complete facilities and is relatively new. Hygiene: Good hygiene, very clean, no odor Environment: The environment is quite high, the window is facing the street, and you can see the street view at night. Service: The service is very good and the staff is very enthusiastic. 2 tickets for Yuyin Hot Spring: The hot spring is not bad, there are few people, and after returning to the hotel at night, the whole hot spring is very comfortable. If the hot spring water temperature is a little higher, it will be more perfect.

The hotel location is very good, inside the Thaiwoo Ski resort. Room is clean, and big. Staff are very helpful except the chef during breakfast. We ask politely for omelette for our kid, but chef was refuse & respond it with improper manner. However, the other chef during lunch on our first day was nice. Overall Hyatt Chongli is a great place to stay for ski trip in Thaiwoo!

Yesterday was my second stay at Genting Aoxue. The first time was in July last year. The experience was very good, so I decided to stay at their house again this time. It lived up to expectations. Although the room types are different, they are just as clean and tidy, and they feel like home, and they have the same beautiful scenery. Especially the professional and caring service provided by the housekeeper Xiao Liu, who is better than a neighbor and friend! Provide us with convenience, enthusiastically recommend nearby travel guides, convenient supermarkets for purchasing food, etc. Thanks again to Xiao Liu🥹The scenery outside the window is really healing. The hotel is relatively new, with good facilities and decorations. The service is superb! Because of the problem of bed size, I wanted to change to a room of the same price. The store owner was very patient to take me to see the room first and then adjust it. The front desk and service staff communicated with the attitude of helping to solve the problem, and their attitude was also very good. It is a good choice to come to Chongli. In addition, the breakfast is delicious.
