When the prosperous waves rush through the streets of Osaka, history and modernity are intertwined here. At this moment, putting on a gorgeous kimono is like stepping into a fantasy journey where time and fashion collide.

The heritage of trading ports and the trend of kimono: Osaka, once a bustling hub of economic and trade exchanges, has witnessed the precipitation and integration of diverse cultures. The kimono culture has also been nurtured here. It not only adheres to the ancient and exquisite craftsmanship but also boldly incorporates popular trends, integrating modern colors and fashionable creative patterns. This has created a unique "Osaka style", radiating a distinctive vitality in the traditional kimono world.

Beautiful urban scenery, kimono adds charm: Under the neon lights of Osaka Castle and next to the giant signboard of Dotonbori, quaint kimonos are everywhere, creating stunning sparks. Strolling in Shinsaibashi, elegant kimonos are mixed with trendy streets, creating a new idea; in Osaka Castle Park, the ancient city walls reflect the solemnity of kimonos; in front of the castle tower, kimonos and historical buildings are in the same frame, and every gesture is a beautiful fashion blockbuster.

Ingenuity and perfection: Local kimono makeup artists keep up with the latest trends and carefully research personalized makeup based on "Osaka-style" kimonos, paired with imaginative accessories to give traditional kimonos new vitality. The photography team also plays with urban light and shadow, using high-rise buildings and graffiti as the background, and cleverly finding angles to instantly freeze the dreamlike fusion of kimonos and Osaka Castle.

Experiencing Kimono in Osaka is like opening a door to a brand new cultural experience, and being fascinated by the charm of Osaka where fashion and ancient charm dance together.

Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park at Osaka

Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park at Osaka

Went to visit the Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park - Tower of the Sun, Tulips and Cherry Blossoms. Thankfully, it was a really sunny day. While it was crowded on a weekend, it was very manageable and easy to go to different places and take pictures. Would advise buying the tickets to the tower of the sun museum and coming early afternoon so that you won’t be caught rushing to the train station afterwards and be sandwiched.

Indulging in Photography in the Flower Paradise - Nemophila at Expo '70 Commemorative Park and Us.

I went to Expo '70 Commemorative Park in Osaka with my photography friends. Just as I had seen on Instagram, it was a wonderful place filled with colorful flowers, including Nemophila. Armed with my newly purchased camera, my friends and I set out for a photo session. The contrast between the vibrant flowers and the blue sky in the vast park was incredibly beautiful, and every time I held the camera, the joy of snapping photos spread. Walking on the carpet of flowers and taking pictures felt like being in a dream. We spent a memorable time, fully experiencing the beauty of nature.

A Relaxing Trip with a Camera in Hand to Blooming Flowers

A Relaxing Trip with a Camera in Hand to Blooming Flowers

A casual camera trip to Expo Park was a heartwarming experience. The vast grounds are adorned with colorful flowers that showcase the beauty of each season. As I strolled with my camera in hand, vibrant landscapes crafted by nature unfolded one after another, offering picturesque spots everywhere I looked. The seasonal flower fields, in particular, were breathtaking with their colorful blooms spreading out like a painting. Seeing the Tower of the Sun up close was also a moving experience, its grandeur leaving a lasting impression. Surrounded by flowers and nature, I enjoyed the luxury of taking photos in a leisurely atmosphere.

If you're planning to visit Osaka, make sure to take a stroll through the Expo '70 Commemorative Park. The park is vast, covering approximately 260 hectares, and still retains some traditional Japanese gardens and folk art museums for visitors to enjoy. Each season brings different blooming flowers, making it a must-visit for flower enthusiasts who will find endless photo opportunities. Visitors can be seen buying bento boxes and leisurely enjoying their meals while taking in the beautiful scenery. Where else can you find a place that offers sunsets, various types of flowers, and stunning landscapes all in one? Nearby, there's also a large shopping mall that features a massive aquarium where animals can roam freely. This place is highly recommended, and I hope you enjoy my introduction! Thank you!

The 'Dessert Buffet' is a delightful point as it comes with a hearty main dish☆ You can choose one main dish from a variety of options such as a voluminous burger with a Snoopy stamp, several types of pizza and pasta, or a kids' plate! In addition, there are various menus such as salads and a la carte dishes. It's better to go with the mindset of having a solid lunch rather than just eating desserts! We ordered a main pizza and pasta with the dessert buffet, and it cost around 3000 yen! The price varies slightly depending on the main dish. Three-Color Road, a hidden gem in Osaka to view autumn leaves

The Three-Color Road, or 三色彩道 (Sanshikisaido), is a road lined with maple trees on both sides, stretching for about 1 kilometer. By the end of November, the leaves change into beautiful colors. This place is not well-known among foreign tourists, but locals love to visit and take photos. Getting there is easy. Take the Hankyu line and get off at Kita-Senri Station, the terminal station. If you take the correct line, you won't get lost. Once you arrive, walk east, cross the main road, and you will find the Three-Color Road. The road is straight and slopes uphill to about the midpoint where you will find a traffic light intersection. After the intersection, the road slopes downhill, but not as steep as the other side. Visiting in the late afternoon is ideal as the sunlight beautifully illuminates the leaves.
