We selected the Warwick hotel for its convenient location directly opposite to Geneva Central train station. This was a great spot from which to explore the city centre and also to make our way back to Geneva Airport by train (< 10 minutes) for our return flight home the following morning. The hotel accommodation was clean and welcoming, with comfortable beds, and the staff was service-oriented & responsive. A very good choice for a short-stay in Geneva!
Very easy to get from airport, free shuttle, helpful staff, clean rooms, breakfast is brilliant. Always very fresh, lots of staff around to help. In a good location you get transport into city, & tourist sights.
Great hotel very close to train station, staff are lovely especially Joao the concierge gentleman. Rooms are clean and spacious and comfortable with fridge and spotlessly clean facilities plus kettle. Right next door to Lidl super market so very handy, close to buses to travel to chamonix etc and very short walk to Geneva lake. Wonderful
Best hotel in Geneva. Affordable price with good location just 400m away from Geneve Railway station. Easy to find. Walking distance to Lake Geneva. Accessible to Migros and Coop. Comfortable and clean room. Most important for us as Asian is the toilet provide bidet. Like it very much. And the room also had bathtub. Great stay in Geneva before catching our flight the next day..
The rooms in Europe are small, so I chose two apartment hotels. This time I brought my children with me. The rooms are bigger, more comfortable and more convenient. This hotel is very convenient to the Geneva train station, very close to the city center, and very quiet to sleep. There are service staff from 8 to 10 o'clock, and breakfast is delivered to the room. Overall, it is very good👍
We had a lovely stay at Kipling Hotel. Our room was wonderful - a spacious corner room with a beautiful balcony. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the station. We were touched when Guest Services left us a sweet honeymoon note and chocolates - such a thoughtful gesture! The only problem was our key card kept deactivating. Over the course of our week-long stay, we had to get it fixed at least five times. Despite this issue, we really enjoyed our stay.
Hotel is great and bkfast great with a very good location just pop train station corvain. We were lucky to got a free Geneva transport from hotel too. Will stay here again if I visit Geneva again. Nearby many restaurants and super market too
The location is good. There are many delicious food nearby. There are also two supermarkets. However, the parking fee is CHF 35, which is relatively expensive. The meter is 2.8 francs per hour and has a limit of 90 minutes. However, you can re-enter with no limit on the number of times. In the evening Free from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. Breakfast is a buffet, and the 20 francs is not worth it because the fruits are not very fresh.
The patient answers from the front desk staff make tourists relax! The nostalgic little elevator is very safe and can accommodate one or two people at a time! The room is warmly decorated and the mattress is very comfortable to sleep on! Breakfast is rich and fresh! Every day, several handsome waiters are busy working diligently, with slightly serious expressions, but very dedicated!
The service staff were very enthusiastic, so enthusiastic that they helped me fold the clothes that were thrown around and put them in the box 😂
The room was also very clean, and the sheets were changed every day.
The breakfast was pretty good. Although it didn't change, I didn't feel sick of it after eating it for 9 days.
Some room types have coffee machines but no kettles, and some have kettles but no coffee machines.
You can take bus No. 15 to the city and the United Nations, and it's a 5-minute walk to the lake, which is quite convenient

GGuest UserManagement please check this review and travellers please watch out!!!
A nice clean hotel with great restaurant which made me feel like home. Closed to the airport though location is a bit difficult for me to walk to the airport, but they have nice shuttle service to take guests from/to the airport. In my mind, I praised it was the best airport hotel I was staying ever, and they deserved a great review. (that was what I felt at the beginning).
With the reasons above I had extended to stay one more night to check out on 12 May 2025 when I could easily move to the hotel in front of it for the extra day (Nash Suites airport hotel) with cheaper price. I chose to stay.
I Got Really Upset And Disappointed when a box of Chocolate in my room got lost. I have pictures attached here in the review!!! Chocolates in Switzerland are very unique, and I intentionally went to Sweetzerland (a chocolate boutique) on Saturday to purchase two boxes for my friends in the Netherlands because Sweetzerland closes on Sunday. One box cost me CHF 22. On Sunday May 11, I went out till the evening around 6pm. As soon as I got back to the room, I realized one box of my chocolates was gone but left me the white gift wrap. I immediately went down to report to the receptionist. The one I first talked to was nice. She seemed willing to help solve the problems. She referred me to talk to another receptionist, her colleague but the lady she referred wasn’t available at that time. She asked me to go talk later again.
When I did, the second receptionist said all the managers, and house keeping they needed to talk to left because it was after 6pm. I asked her to call them. She said that was impossible. So, verfication wasn’t successful. Instead, she asked me to leave my contact number in Europe and email address because I was gonna check out the next morning 4 am. She claimed by the next morning 4:30 am after they talked, they would come up with a solution and would contact me. I waited for two full days, and no call or email received. This IGNORANCE shouldn’t be done. This considers BAD SERVICE!!! This shows that you don’t care about short stay travellers. How unsafe the guests would feel??? Now, it has come to the point that I was complaining about losing one chocolate box to complaining about bad manner of the receptionist! There were 3 receptionists that evening, she was the second lady who sat down in the middle with longer face shape. It happened on May 11 evening, and my room number was 311.
Management Please check and take this action seriously!!! Don’t let the act and services of those ladies ruined your hotel’s reputation. It was supposed to be a great 5 stars hotel but it ended up as one star. It is a shame to let the reputation go down this way. Our family also ran a hotel in our home county, so I deeply take sympathy on you and want you to know!!! PLEASE Definitely Check and Verify!!! Don’t make your guests feel like you don’t care especially for those overseas guests who go and do a short stay.
It is not the value of a box of chocolate matters, it is about housekeeping lady’s behavior and the ignorance of the receptionist!!! What if I left my other stuffs unlocked in the luggage on that evening?!? She probably would take something important on that luggage too.
Please You Should Check with the housekeeper and the receptionist on that day!!!!!!
DDean MauriceWe liked most of the hotel. The pricing was reasonable and it was in a nice and quiet area in Geneva. We found the beds to be comfy and felt the shower was excellent with a couple of different settings to get some good pressure. We had two twin beds and the room had enough furnishings in it to enjoy but it is just a place to sleep. The room ran a bit warm for us in late October but having the window open helped.
They have a very good breakfast with a good variety of items like Swiss cheese, bacon, cured meats, breads and some good pastries. Coffee, tea and juice is also included and they have a few dispensers in the dining area. Hot water is available here in case you want to make a hot drink and bring it back to your room.
When we visited this hotel there was an internet outage in Vernier so there was no wifi available at the hotel for the duration of our stay and our cellular was blocked. The parking garage was also doing some painting so it was tricky to figure out the parking situation and getting into the parkade because there was no signage. We had issues with the front desk because the staff did not inform us of these known issues while we were checking in and we found it somewhat frustrating but when we inquired about these issues at the front desk the staff that I spoke to was rude, argumentative and condescending while the one lady insisted that they told us during check in but we were simply providing feedback that they did not. We had booked a twin room and a double room for our family but the rooms were mixed around and we didn't figure it out until the next morning and just thought it was what it was.
My wife and I could not help but notice that the staff in the breakfast area only asked people of colour for their breakfast card. Each time we went up to grab something they were asking someone of colour for their card to prove they were ok to dine in the breakfast area and it happened so frequently that it did not seem to be a coincidence. Staff could improve by asking everyone or simply having a front desk before the dining area where people could check in so they do not have to weirdly single people out.
I believe the hotel was charging a 25 CHF fee per day for parking because it is a third party that operates the parkade. They did advise us that we could choose to pay this fee or pay at the machine in the parkade. When we asked about the costs of the parkade the front desk staff nor the parking operator could advise us what the overnight fees would be but someone later shared that we could check the machine when we go to check out and we found a payment schedule and only had to pay 15 CHF overnight. I have attached the payment schedule to this review.
There is not much near this hotel but we felt it was a convenient overnight stay as we drove around Switzerland. We enjoyed some aspects of the hotel but there are definitely some opportunities to improve.
AAnonymous UserRuby Claire Hotel in Geneva offers a unique experience, though it may not be for everyone.
The hotel is in a central location, situated right in the heart of Geneva’s shopping district. Tram and bus access are incredibly convenient, with stops just at the doorstep. It’s also a 10-minute walk to the bus depot for trips into France. However, finding the hotel can be a challenge. It’s not a standalone building but rather occupies part of a mall/office complex, which might confuse first-time visitors. If you’re coming from the main train station, it’s two tram stops followed by a 5-7 minute walk.
The reception is located on the 7th floor, and the check-in process is entirely self-service via an iPad. While efficient in theory, the process felt cumbersome, especially with the requirement to provide a home address. Traditional hotel check-ins are certainly more straightforward.
The hotel’s design is modern and minimalist but the corridors and ceilings are in black, and are lit only with spotlights. Together with a maze-like corridor design, this aesthetic choice should raise concerns about navigating during emergencies even though there are exit signs.
Rooms, on the other hand, are compact yet well-designed, offering a surprising amount of space by European standards. The rain shower and the addition of a Marshall Bluetooth speaker were standout features, adding a touch of luxury to the stay. Another pleasant surprise was the galley on each floor, offering free-flow coffee and tea—a thoughtful touch for guests.
The hotel provides an eco-friendly incentive: opt out of room cleaning and receive a complimentary drink at the bar, which also serves as the reception area.
Considering its central location and the thoughtful amenities, Ruby Claire offers excellent value for money in a city as expensive as Geneva. This is a hotel I would recommend to friends visiting Geneva.
SSaan ChoyRoom is clean and comes with the convenience of a small functional kitchen. Bed is comfortable.
Location is excellent. Close to the fountain jet, train station and shops.
Very quiet as well for the inside facing room we had.
Staff are helpful.

EEmmanuel HemmerléI was going to arrive late in the evening last night so I wrote the hotel to enquire about transportation from the airport to the hotel. They told me very diligent it and precisely about their shuttle service. When I arrived at the hotel, the desk person, a Swiss gentleman, was extremely hospitable, friendly, authentic, detailed in a good sense, helpful and professional. He also helped me book a taxi for the next day. What a great way to welcome a guest. Really best practice. Lots of desk employees around the world should learn from him!
The room was very nice, all fine. Large enough, and having all amenities.
Excellent lunch at the hotel: very good cuisine.
I needed to leave my luggage at the concierge: they did it all very well.
The only point for improvement: when I left, I asked a lady at the reception, apparently Swiss, to help me get my luggage back and book a taxi for me. She did it but in a cold and distant way. She should go find another job in a different industry. One where she can continue being unfriendly.
GGuest UserThe scenery is unbeatable. It is the best hotel around. It is convenient, next to the lake, and there is a big supermarket downstairs. There are no other hotels for you to choose. The facilities are on par with the domestic Four Seasons and Atour.
KKamalathaI went a day earlier to confirm my stay with the hotel. They couldn't find my booking. I showed them my confirmation on my phone. I was told that they can see my confirmation number but no payment was made by trip.com. They assured me that such has happened before and told me to be on the safe guard book another room as a standby. They assured me that they will not swipe my card until matter is resolved. That assurance made me check in. I kept coming to the front office every now and then and I was told it was resolved. Only on the last night I was told that by Trip.com of the error in the address. In the meantime the hotel had swiped my card. Surprisingly they did not honour the feedbacks I gave to Hotel Montana Geneve and Hotel Montana Zurich. There was no email to apologise for the oversight and delay in handling. I went to the hotel one day earlier to check, they could have attended to it and not confidently putting the blame on trip.com since there has been previous incidents where [ayment was not received.
I thought Hotel Montana group could have handled this matter better. Quite disappointing.

BBenny Hon ChungThe hotel is in a central location which is only a few minutes walk from the railway station and the old town where the cathedral and all the big luxury brands can be found. There are a lot of restaurants in its vicinity. The hotel is a bit old but very clean and comfortable. The room is spacious and sound proofing is excellent. The staff are extremely polite, welcoming, and accomodating. It's worth mentioning that the hotel's check in time is 1500 but we were given a room when we arrived at 1210. The gentleman and lady at the reception counter even gave us a city map and took several minutes telling us where to go. The two reception girls in the afternoon also showed us their welcoming smiles every time they saw us. When we called to request to have a kettle the hotel gave us not just a kettle but a whole lot of instant coffee and tea bags. Wow what a surprise to receive such excellent service in a small 4 star hotel! I highly recommend it to all travellers who want to receive exceptional service.
