I recently stayed at Sarovar Portico for two nights, and it was a wonderful experience. Room: The room was very good—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The decor was tasteful, and the bed provided a restful sleep. Service: The service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. They went out of their way to ensure that all our needs were met promptly. Amenities: The amenities were excellent. We made good use of the fitness center and the swimming pool, both of which were well-equipped and maintained. The hotel also offered several other facilities that enhanced our stay. Food: The food was awesome. We dined at the hotel’s restaurant and were thoroughly impressed with the quality and variety of the dishes. Everything we tried was delicious, and the dining experience was top-notch. Overall, Sarovar Portico provided a fantastic stay with great rooms, superb service, good amenities, and delicious food. Highly recommended!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at kc residency, and my experience was nothing short of fantastic. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of jammu, making it an ideal choice for both tourists and business travellers. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions within walking distance. Public transportation was also easily accessible, making it convenient to explore the rest of the city. Location:
the hotel’s prime location is a major highlight. Situated near ragunath temple, it allowed me to explore the city effortlessly. Whether i wanted to visit market or enjoy the local nightlife, everything was just a stone’s throw away. Despite being in a busy part of town, the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful. Food:
the dining options at the hotel were exceptional. I had breakfast at their in-house restaurant, which offered a variety of both dishes. The buffet was well-organised, with fresh and delicious options ranging from fruits, pastries, and cereals. The service at the restaurant was also attentive, and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxing meal. Service:
what truly made the stay special was the impeccable service. From the moment i checked in, the staff was courteous and welcoming. They were eager to help with recommendations and directions, and any requests were promptly addressed. The room was always spotless after returning from a day out. The concierge went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. Overall, my stay at kc residency was a memorable experience. The combination of a great location, excellent food, and outstanding service makes this hotel a top choice. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting jammu, whether for business or leisure.

The location was kind of convenient but then again, to what?
The service was friendly, proficient and professional.
I spilled a beverage on the bathroom floor so I used some tissues to wipe it off, lo and behold the tissues turned black. I was gobsmacked. Similar situation occurred in the living area with identical results. So needless to say hygiene is not of primary importance. Also when closed the toilet seat, the rear of the cover was stained with, I would imagine, urine.
The Kitchen: The Chef and the maitre de saved the day as the dinner was of a very high standard, Congratulations guys, well done 👏 ✔️

Amazing
GGuest UserFabulous location, we were welcomed very warmly and the car was valet parked which was important as it was cold and raining.
We were offered a warm drink and a comfortable place to sit whilst the formalities of check in were completed.
We didn’t even have time to finish our drink before we were offered an upgraded room at no extra cost. WOW!
The room was spacious, beautifully dressed and we were shown our own private balcony with the most spectacular view and this was also very nicely furnished.
Everything was as we’d hoped and expected, because the hotel is EXPENSIVE, but we received exactly what we paid for.
All the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately the Pandemic has affected everyone and this hotel has had to do it’s best to survive these difficult times.
The facilities in the Spa have been cut back to save costs but when we went to use it the place was warmed and treatments were enhanced to ensure we were more than satisfied.
Luxury is expensive and we really enjoyed the pampering!!!
All I can say is that this hotel and the treatment of their guests is everything you would expect for the price you have to pay.
If wehad unlimited money we would stay only here when we visit Kashmir, which I do often to visit family.
Even when we do visit family here we often visit the hotel, just to enjoy the gardens and admire the building and the ambience.
Although we may not spend one penny on these visits the treatment by the staff has always been the same as we experienced on this visit.
One word to describe this hotel FABULOUS.
KKangkan- The hotel location is good. The only challenge is the continuous railway announcements coming to you. But that is bearable.
- The front desk is really helpful. I was tired from a trip and they helped me check in a couple of hours before the scheduled check-in time seeing my tiredness.
- Good ambience overall with a separate dining area and secured lifts.
- The toilet (room# 201) was dirty - specifically the WC.
- Bathroom exhaust fan is too noisy.
- No wardrobes.
- Delayed service - asked for shower caps as caps are available on de***d only. It took almost an hour to deliver after repetitive calls.
- They need to consider providing an electric water kettle in the room seriously. The common area service for tea/coffee and hot water is good. But does not provide the right level of service and comfort.
- If someone wants to drink multiple glasses of warm water, the person needs to go and sit there.
- Morning tea, you need to go outside the room
I think considering the cost of an electric kettle, it could be more economical and ***ageable.

GGuest UserRoom description old, dampness in rooms. Amenities I.e. playing area pool, table tenis, etc was chargeable. Food (did breakfast) average in taste. Work was going on in the hotel. Pool site was available incomplete where monkeys were bathing and drinking water from it.
Good things were silent corridor, central heating system (however it did fail for few hours during the stay). Separate heating system also provided in room, view from balcony was good.
LLoneThe Orchard Retreat & Spa is a serene and delightful escape, perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation. The staff is exceptionally welcoming, and the food is excellent, with delicious Kashmiri and international dishes. The lush surroundings, luxurious amenities, and warm hospitality make it an ideal spot for a quiet, rejuvenating stay. Highly recommended!

GGuest User1. Welcoming and Approachable Staff
2. Beautiful property The food was really delicious. The staff was very polite but the room and ambiance of the hotel was average. The lake view is clearly a scam - the view is there but not what you really expect when you buy it. There was no power backup. As a whole, the stay was average and anyways they were charging comparatively lesser than other hostels. So, the average experience makes sense.
GGuest UserI had great experience in this hotel with my family. Room service and house keeping service is quick. Fast check in at front office, staff at front office is so nice and cooperative. Restaurants food is quite good .Here all the things are well managed and behavior of hotel staff is very polite.
