This is amazing! Thank you for a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect: the location, service, cleanliness, style, and comfort. Everything is brand new and of very high quality. The bedding is fantastic, the bed is comfortable, and the shower is a special treat – the water pressure and drainage are excellent, and anyone who travels a lot will understand what I mean. Perfect. 10 out of 10. The view is an added bonus!

Wonderful new hotel. We booked two rooms for two couples but were placed on different floors. The interior is modern, and every detail, from the hooks to the dishes, is thoughtfully comfortable. The breakfasts were incredibly delicious and varied. We always found parking for our car near the hotel. The location is perfect for pedestrians. To the left of the hotel is the embankment, and to the right are a square and alleys with beautiful streets. The reception staff (young women) only speak English or Georgian, while other staff members speak Russian.

Good room. Clean and has everything you need. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. There are plenty of currency exchange places and shops nearby. For restaurants, it's better to head towards the port. The beach was almost empty, perhaps it's still off-season. Didn't have to wait for the elevator at all, 1-2 minutes and you're already on the 1st floor (I stayed on the 30th). I was happy with my trip.

This is an amazing hotel in the heart of Batumi, right opposite Europe Square, housed in a historic building with an astronomical clock. This IHG hotel opened at the end of December 2025. From the moment we arrived, we felt the staff's care, attention, and impeccable style. We stayed from January 3rd to 7th in a standard king-size room on the 3rd floor, with views of the historic city, the square, and Batumi Tower. The room was spacious with high ceilings, central air conditioning, and was very warm and comfortable in winter. In the room, we found fluffy bathrobes, soft slippers, an ironing board and iron, a capsule coffee machine, a tea set, stylish glasses, a Smart TV with YouTube, and a mini-bar (extra charge). Water was replenished daily. Housekeeping was excellent – a big thank you to the staff – and the toiletries were high-quality, with hygiene kits (toothbrushes and other amenities) provided upon check-in. The spa wasn't open during our stay, but the fitness center was. I particularly want to mention the bed and linens – we slept wonderfully. Breakfast initially was a buffet (hot dishes, pastries, cheeses, good quality coffee and tea), and later became à la carte, offering eggs Benedict, toast with salmon or bacon, syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes), and pancakes. The breakfast service was exceptional. I especially want to commend the reception staff: everyone was very friendly and spoke multiple languages, including Russian, which was very convenient. Special thanks to Assistant Manager Avtandil for his attentiveness and help; I've never experienced such hospitality. Thank you to Nana for the late check-out. We were completely satisfied with the hotel and the service, and we will definitely return and recommend it to our friends.❤️

I really liked the hotel. It's wonderful that the owner did so much to make a traveler feel comfortable in another country. The hotel is very clean and cozy. The location is very convenient if you need to go to the sea, walk around the city, or go somewhere. A good residential area. The hotel is visible from afar. The hotel lobby is European-domestic. The room is spacious and comfortable. In addition to the beds, there is an area for eating at the table. The room has a washing machine (the owner provided washing powder), a stove, a kettle, dishes, and slippers. Tea and coffee, 4 bottles of water. Everything is very clean. Every day they replenished tea, coffee, soap, and shampoo. Towels were changed daily and they cleaned. I would especially like to mention the bathroom. Clean, in perfect condition. Very spacious and comfortable shower with good plumbing. The water pressure is excellent. The hot water is even hot - hot if you turn it up high. Thanks to the owner, he did not skimp and made a wonderful shower. There is also a hygienic shower. The towels are soft and clean. The soap is fragrant. There's a lamp by the bed and a power outlet (Russian ones are compatible). Excellent internet. Everything was comfortable and convenient. Thanks again to the host for ensuring maximum comfort and convenience for guests.

The view from the room is absolutely beautiful, and that's why we chose it. The location is super convenient, close to all attractions. However, the sofa and chairs are quite worn out; the sofa is dirty and the upholstery is torn. Upon checking in, we noticed a very unpleasant smell coming from the sewage in the room. We asked them to fix it, but the plumber couldn't find anything. My husband actually found an uncapped sewage pipe himself, sealed it, and the smells disappeared. But the bathroom smells so strongly of smoke that the odor just won't go away. There are no toothbrushes, toothpaste, or shaving kits provided. The shower barely works, making it difficult to wash. The shower screen's fitting is loose and looks like it's about to fall off. Towels are changed and rooms are cleaned every two days. The rooms have an electric stove, but there are no pans or pots to cook anything. There are also no dishwashing supplies. Overall, for the price, it might be an acceptable room if you only plan to use it for sleeping.

GGuest UserThe apartment smelt of stale smoke a lot but was relaxing and had a great view. The check-in was easy and straight forward at reception and the receptionist was kind. Great views from the balcony, with much more privacy than other orbi apartments. I’d recommend it’s worth the money - not a palace but decent.

SSaumyaleo31We stayed at Sheraton Batumi Hotel expecting the standard of a global 5-star luxury chain. Unfortunately, while the location is beautiful, the overall experience fell far below expectations. The property’s location, right in front of the beach, is stunning. The views are lovely and the building itself looks impressive. Sadly, the service and operational quality did not match the pricing or brand promise. Here were the key concerns: 1. Language & Service Gaps For a luxury, premium-priced international hotel, it was surprising that several staff members struggled to understand basic English. This made even simple requests unnecessarily complicated. 2. Inedible Food on Day 1 On the day we checked in, we ordered a ciabatta pesto sandwich. The ciabatta was so hard it was impossible to chew. It literally sounded like knocking on wood. We had to remove and eat only the filling. This is basic food quality control that should not fail in a 5-star property. 3. Repeated WiFi Failures Within an hour of check-in, the WiFi stopped working. I had official calls to attend, yet even after 2–3 hours, the issue wasn’t resolved. The next day, the WiFi again went down for 2–3 hours. In a hospitality business today, reliable internet is non-negotiable. There also seemed to be no backup plan or proactive communication. 4. Shower Head Burst - No QC? The following morning, the shower head burst while in use, flooding the bathroom. My belongings got wet and it completely disrupted the morning. When a room is marked “ready,” basic quality checks should ensure fixtures are functional. 5. Breakfast Quality Below Standard The breakfast buffet was largely cold. Vegetarian options were extremely limited. Even the falafel was undercooked. The omelette was overly oily. At the very least, for a globally known chain, one Indian option or more diverse vegetarian choices would have been appreciated. 6. Room Service Delays Ordering water to the room took nearly an hour and required four calls. That level of delay for something so basic is difficult to justify. Overall, while the location is excellent, the service standards, food quality, maintenance checks, and responsiveness did not align with what one expects from a Sheraton property. For the price paid, this was not a luxury experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on operational consistency, staff training, and basic quality control.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel left mixed impressions. On the positive side, the location is good: the botanical garden is nearby, many places are within walking distance, and getting to Batumi is convenient. The sea view from the window was beautiful, especially in the evening. The price was also quite reasonable. The apartment had all the basic necessities, but some small comfort items and supplies were missing: there was no laundry detergent, no sponges, and it was unclear where the trash area was located. The wardrobes were assembled strangely and kept opening by themselves all the time. The water pressure was rather weak, making it uncomfortable to wash long hair. The strangest part was the breakfast situation and the café organization. We were told in advance that we could come for breakfast at any time, but when we arrived a little after 12 PM, we were told that breakfast was no longer being served. At the same time, the café was almost empty — we stayed in May, during the off-season, so there were barely any visitors. The next day the situation repeated itself: before checking out, we wanted to have breakfast, but it turned out that the café opened later than the time written on the door. Through the administrator we found out a different opening time, and then the café was additionally delayed by around half an hour. As a result, we never managed to have a calm breakfast before departure. The breakfasts themselves were also questionable. The English breakfast in the café costs around 24–25 GEL separately and was extremely greasy and oily — literally a “cholesterol festival.” If you stay for a longer period, it gets tiring very quickly. There were alternatives, but they looked much less worthwhile in terms of price and portion size, so I’m not sure there is much point in booking breakfast included. There was also an uncomfortable situation with the staff: we walked past the security guard many times, but later we suddenly started being questioned about who we were and where we came from, as if we were doing something suspicious. After check-out, we were also asked to wait while they checked whether anything had been stolen from the apartment. It felt awkward and unpleasant. Overall, the hotel is fine for a short stay because of the view and location, but the service and organization left mixed impressions. Also, be prepared for a very specific driving style in this region.

BBuerderenIn the new district of Batumi, it is close to the airport and a few kilometers away from the old city, but the traffic jam in Batumi is very serious. We walked for more than an hour in the afternoon for a few kilometers. The management of this city is really bad. The room was small, but it was clean, very close to the beach, because the plane left in the morning, breakfast was not eaten, and the umbrella was required to deposit 50.

SsmithHotel location is good, very close to Batumi's European Square and the seaside trail. The service attitude of the hotel was very bad. I returned to the hotel at 9 o'clock on the night of the stay. The door lock of the room could not be opened. There was a staff member in the whole hotel. I couldn't open it with the hotel card. I said that there were no technicians now and offered to open another room for us. Solve it tomorrow morning. Because we will return to Tbilisi the next morning, the time arrangement is tight, and all the luggage is in the room, and there is no peace of mind to change the room, so I insist on asking the hotel to find a way to open the door, but the hotel has been shirking. After dragging for 2 or 3 hours, through the coordination of Trip.com , the manager came to the scene. At first, he did not solve the problem in the attitude of solving the problem. He said that the door was originally good, but why it would not open now. It was not until 2 am that the door was opened and the room was changed for us. During the whole process, we stayed outdoors for 5 hours. If the hotel handles it early, it can solve the problem in up to half an hour. Here I would like to thank Trip.com , the overseas hotel department customer service staff of Trip.com have called the hotel many times during the handling of the matter and given us a lot of help.

GGuest UserLocation - amazing place. We could see a sea and beautiful view on the city. We had some trouble with check-in, it was delayed more than 1 hours. Also we had unfinished cleaning - dirty towels, garbage in the bucket. But in general it was OK. All our troubles was resolved by room service. We had all necessities in our room - dishes, table, wi-fi and air conditioner with heating function.

GGuest UserExcellent location. We were vacationing with friends, and it just so happened that we had almost the entire floor to ourselves. Everything is within walking distance; all attractions are nearby. It was a bit noisy outside the window in the evenings, but that wasn't due to the hotel itself. The hotel itself is new; that's clear to see.

ККатерина24The hotel is located 40-50 minutes walk from the sights. The rooms are clean, bright, spacious. Cleaning, change of towels, every day! Breakfasts are quite varied, you will definitely find something to suit your taste. There is a fitness area, Finnish sauna, swimming pool, mini children's paddling pool. Minus the pool is poorly cleaned, in the corners at the bottom you can see garbage, a little, but it is there. The hammam works nominally, there is no steam injection, it's just like entering a warm room. Price-quality ratio.
