I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Grand Continental Kuala Terengganu. The cleanliness was good and the rooms were comfortable. The location is excellent, very convenient and close to many attractions. The service was generally good, though there is still some room for improvement. The amenities provided were also good and sufficient for a comfortable stay. Overall, it is a nice hotel for business travellers with a great location and reliable facilities.

Booked 3D1N with release turtle pkg, very worth it. Staff very friendly. Resort look old but consider clean.
Kids like the beach so much. Water and beach also clean and not much ppl during holiday season.

I recently stayed at Hotel Tanjong Vista in Kuala Terengganu and had a mixed experience. While the location was excellentâclose to eateries, laundry services, seaview room and KTCC Mallâthe overall stay left much to be desired.
Unfortunately, the room had a strong smell of cigar smoke, which was quite unpleasant. The cleanliness of the room also needs improvement, as it didnât meet the standards I expected.
As for the breakfast, it was very basic and not up to standard. There was limited variety and the quality could definitely be improved.
That said, the hotelâs strategic location is a major plus, especially for those looking to explore the city or run errands nearby.

The service was great. The hotel WhatsApp in advance asking what time I wanted to check in. The location was above Tanjung Jaraâs area. It was quite serene & peaceful. Itâs a 15 mins drive to the Dungun town. The hotel is quite new hence it was very clean. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

AAnonymous UserIt's normal but it's ok to have a place to sleep and rest for a while. But don't expect anything fancy. The budget hotel is really old-fashioned but it's good to have a coway. The bed is not hard, the shower tap water is fast.

MMofanoThis was my 2nd time stay at YT midtown since 2008. Here are my review for this stay :-
Good
1. Aircond was cool but need to service
2. No tourism tax
3. Near to many shops
4. A few steps near mosque
5. Good breakfast
Poor
1. The room with 3 single bed are quit small for my families.
2. The bathroom water was very hot if pull to hot side. Becareful next time.
3.The TV was very bad I tough I saw a 1980's channel. The should upgrade the TV channels.
4. Breakfast need more variety of choice. 2 or 3 more menu would be better

GGuest UserThe Peridot is a beautiful resort but is undergoing renovations so they don't offer any services at the moment. The pool is full of dirty water, the reception bathrooms are still full of lime and insects, there are workers (rightly) wandering around the entire resort and the breakfast is really poor: they offer toast with butter and jam and something savory. The rooms, on the other hand, are fabulous, spacious and state-of-the-art... ours was directly on the sea and offers L'Occitane products which in our opinion are excellent. The price for the current conditions is decidedly high.

While the room itself was a bit dated, having the beach right there made me totally overlook it! đ The pool was clean, and breakfast was just okay. It's truly perfect for a relaxing escape to clear your mind. đđ Overall, I highly recommend it.

GGuest UserWe stayed in a chalet. The chalet was very basic, without a cupboard, a shelf... but really spacious. The bathroom was also large, the shower jet was very weak. The artificial grass in front of the door was inconvenient, just wooden planks would have been much more practical. All in all we were quite satisfied with the location and the spacious room. We thought the price was way too high for what we got, and the staff hardly seemed to know anything. One young man was very friendly but quite helpless, the others were not friendly. One man even looked at you disapprovingly when you brought something to the fridge, because he thought it was unthinkable that a can of beer would be put in his fridge.
