Who hasn't visited the ancient city of Chaozhou yet? The place is truly beautiful, the kind where you can take great photos effortlessly (there are shops renting ethnic costumes inside the ancient city), and there's also a snack street (raw pickles, beef balls, and other items are delicious and reasonably priced) with lots of tasty and fun spots. Most importantly, the ancient city is free of charge! Free! (Of course, there's a 10 yuan ticket for the Guangji Tower shown in the first picture) So remember to travel during off-peak times (just the weekends are already crowded, I can't imagine how many people will visit Chaozhou ancient city during the May Day holiday)
