Chun'an Xiling Study Room, immersed in the fragrance of books and cultural edification

On November 25, 2022, Zhejiang Province's first Xiling Study Room was born on Xiushui Street next to the central lake area cruise terminal of Qiandao Lake. Xiling Seal Engraver's Society is the oldest literary society in China, with the reputation of 'the most prestigious society under the heavens.' Qiandao Lake is also known as 'the most beautiful water under the heavens.' Xiushui Street of Qiandao Lake is a provincial-level cultural and creative district. The settlement of Xiling Study Room here means the strong alliance of two 'number ones under the heavens.' The Xiling Study Room is jointly created by the Hangzhou Chun'an County and Xiling Seal Engraver's Society Group. It is a cultural space mainly for public welfare, where visitors can view calligraphy and painting exhibitions, as well as borrow historical books. In addition, they can also experience the elegant charms of writing calligraphy, playing the guqin, playing chess, and drinking tea. The study room is decorated in a fresh and elegant style, with an antique display, and not a single one of the four arts of the Chinese scholar – qin (zither), qi (strategy games like chess), shu (calligraphy), and hua (painting) – is missing, bringing a strong cultural atmosphere.
