The Ling Fu Temple, a Chinese-style temple hidden in the countryside of Da Lat

The Ling Fu Temple is located on a hillside south of Da Lat, Vietnam, with its gate situated amidst the town's hustle and bustle. The arch-shaped gate is inlaid with colorful ceramic tiles and bears the Chinese inscription 'Ling Fu Temple.' With so many Chinese elements present, you might guess that it was built by the Chinese community even before entering the temple. External highlights: Unlike the solemn and majestic temples in China, Ling Fu Temple resembles an exquisitely beautiful work of art, similar to Tianjin's Porcelain House. The entire exterior of the temple is inlaid with broken ceramic pieces. The temple, approximately seven stories high, is decorated with vibrant and elegant dragon motifs. Inside the temple: Two giant Guanyin statues, dragon pillars in front of the temple, dragon carvings on the temple walls, dragon decorations on the temple windows, and dragon pairs above the temple door lintel all make visitors feel as if they have entered a Chinese temple. Each piece is crafted with colorful ceramic and glass fragments, demonstrating a high level of artistry and exuding a sense of opulent luxury. Must experience: The seven-story pagoda next to the Guanyin adorned with flowers, where a golden bell is placed inside. You can write your prayers on paper, stick it to the bell, and ring it three times—no more, no less. It is said to be very effective. Climbing to the seventh floor of the pagoda offers a panoramic view of this beautiful and dazzling temple, making it a superb spot for photography. Admission: Free access.
