Houtang Cultural Park, withered lotuses reflect the emerald lake, and reed flowers fill the sky with snow

Houtang Cultural Park is located in Wangfeng Community, Houtang Community, Jiangbei Sub-district, Dongyang City, adjacent to the Dongyang Headquarters Center, and was opened on July 13, 2023. The park covers an area of 281.7 acres, including a water area of 111.4 acres, featuring colored asphalt running tracks, water purification wetlands, sports venues, plank walkways, artificial beaches, and community squares. The aquatic plants in the lake mainly consist of lotuses, wild water chestnuts, and Canna indica. The plants on the shore mainly include flowering varieties such as plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, and crabapple flowers, as well as autumnal trees like Metasequoia and Chinese tallow trees. Despite the 'severe cold of the third nine-day period' in the traditional Chinese calendar, the weather across Zhejiang is as warm as spring.
