Checking in at the earliest Wu Yue ancient pagoda, I visited the cliff inscriptions by Ye Qingchen

Lin'an Gongchen Mountain, formerly known as Maoshan or Daguanshan, echoes the northern Taimiao Mountain from afar, with an altitude of 157.7 meters. In 901, Qian Liu was awarded the title 'Stabilizer of Chaos and Peacekeeper of the Nation' for his repeated extraordinary achievements. Later, his residence Yijin Camp was promoted to Yijin City, Shijing Mountain was named 'Yijin Mountain', and Daguanshan was named 'Gongchen Mountain', with the main mountain of Yijin City, Maoshan, being named 'Anguo Mountain'. In 915, Qian Liu built the Gongchen Hall, Gongchen Temple, and Gongchen Pagoda on his residential land. The Gongchen Pagoda is robust and simple, built of brick in imitation of a wooden structure, with five stories on four sides, standing 25.3 meters tall. It is a classic example of the transition from tiered eaves brick pagodas to brick-and-wood structures. In 2013, Poliu Well, Gongchen Pagoda, and the ruins of Gongchen Temple were collectively announced as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units. There is a folk saying, 'Gongchen and Anguo, two mountains afar, one gives birth in the south, the other buries in the north.' It means that Qian Liu was born on the southern Gongchen Mountain and rested on the northern Anguo Mountain. On Gongchen Mountain, there is a cliff inscription by Ye Qingchen (Daoqing), a famous minister of the Northern Song Dynasty in 1044. A group of people visited the Pure Land Temple's monk Huanran and Gongchen Temple's master Liaoqing on the day of Ji Si in March. Ye Qingchen was outspoken and dared to admonish, seeking benefits for the people, and was an inseparable friend of Fan Zhongyan, often exchanging poems with each other. After his death, Fan Zhongyan wrote 'Sacrificial Rites to Hanlin Scholar Ye' for him. Interestingly, Ye Qingchen was the father-in-law of Zheng Minyi, whose father Zheng Jian and Fan Zhongyan were brothers-in-law. His most famous poem is 'Farewell', especially the line 'Three parts spring scenery, two parts sorrow, and another part of wind and rain.' Li Shutong even composed music for it, and there is a song with the same name in the Secret Backyard. The southern slope of Gongchen Mountain was the residence of King Qian Wusu. Passing through the Wu Yue underground corridor, one can unlock the life stories and poetry of King Qian Liu of the Wu Yue Kingdom. 'Doing good deeds for China is the everlasting achievement of the Qian family.' The castle-like Geometric Bookstore is reflected in Qian Lake, completely captivating. It turns out to be a cave-style complex bookstore, backed by mountains and facing the lake, with a view from the window that makes for excellent photography.
