Antoni Gaudi Masterpiece

Antoni Gaudí was Barcelona's most famous architect, and he created three houses, one of which is Casa Batlló in 1877. Casa Batlló is considered one of Antoni Gaudi's masterpieces. It was remodeled of a previously built house, redesigned in 1904 by Gaudí, and refurbished several times. Located in the prime center of Barcelona, in the heart shopping district neighboring Dior, LV, Gucci, Rolex, and many more. The building had a basement, ground floor and four other floors with a garden in the back on the second floor. Dont miss the light show in the nighttime; it will transform the building into magical looks. Casa Batllo is open to the public for visits with a ticket fee, and you can purchase the ticket at the counter or buy it online. Dont worry if you dont understand Spanish language, during in-house tour, headset in several other laguages is available for free. Adress: Pg. de Gràcia, 43, 08007 Barcelona. #spain #barcelona #barcelonatravel #casabatllo

Casa Batlló
I want to tell you about a place that alone has been able to excite me more than anything in the Spanish city: Casa Batllò. Even today, 4 years later, when I think back to that day of warm sunshine and the first time I came into contact with an architecture by Antoni Gaudi, I am moved. Legend has it that centuries ago in Montblanc (Terragona) a fierce dragon was raging on the inhabitants of the city. The latter desperate from the continuous destruction, appeased his anger, sacrificing one person a day and "giving it to him for a meal". The time came to sacrifice the princess too, but the brave Saint George ran to his aid and pierced the dragon with his sword and an incredible rose garden was born from the blood that flowed. Since that day, this popular legend is celebrated every year on April 23: the day of San Jordi. Perfect time to visit the house as it is set up with thousands of red roses to represent the spilled blood. The house is open every day of the year from 9 to 21 (last access at 20) at 43 in Paseo de Gracia. The basic ticket costs 25 euros and includes an augmented reality audio guide. A monitor connected to your device will allow you to admire what Gaudì had done in terms of furniture. An idea of what the house was like when the Batllò family resided here and the site had not yet been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In December we did not find a queue but in any case tickets can be purchased online. #barcelona #awesomepic #historicallandmarks #unforgettableexperiences #spain #europe #casabattlo
