Wuhan University

"It is only in Chu that talents are found, and it is here that they flourish." I really like this couplet from the Yuelu Academy, and coming to Wuhan University, I am somehow reminded of it. Wuhan University traces its origins to the Self-Strengthening School founded by Zhang Zhidong in 1893, was named National Wuhan University in 1928, renamed Wuhan University in 1949, and was designated as a national key comprehensive university in 1960. As one of China's oldest universities, Wuhan University is known as "the most beautiful university campus". I like the 'Luojia Ode', and I also like the Wuhan University anthem. Unable to make an appointment to visit the Cherry Blossom Avenue, I can only wander around other parts of Wuhan University, listen to the school song, and observe the bustling students. Fortunately, I can visit the Wanlin Museum on the Wuhan University campus. "Mountain shapes and water boundaries" are the natural environmental characteristics of the Wuhan University campus, and the Wanlin Museum is located right at the heart of the campus. Visiting the museum, one can learn about the university's history, appreciate ancient artifacts, and pay homage to great figures.
