Holy Springs of Tirta Empul

This is one of Bali’s Sacred Water Temple. It is a Balinese Hindu temple and very popular with the tourists too. It is easy to do a one day trip, hire a local driver and he is also your guide for the day. You will need to put on a sarong before entering the temple. It is of no charges but it is recommended to make a small donation in exchange. Once you enter this temple, you will see many statues and shrines. They might looked a bit daunting but they are the guardians of the temple. Feel free to take photos and explore the temple. It will take about 45 minutes to an hour for this visit. You will arrive at their main temple and there is a holy spring with many water sprouts around it. You are able to perform water cleansing in the holy spring.
