Walk around nature and have your money blessed

About half an hour train ride from Shinjuku, Tokyo Japan. We took a visit to Kichijōji, a more neighbourly area within Tokyo. In the area is a beautiful park that would take you away from the city like area. The path goes around their large lake, there are multiple bridges within which you can take a nice walk around. Take a walk around their national park with a swan deck or to their Aquatic Life House with regional reptiles. We sat next to the lake after grabbing a nice cold bottle of tea from their vending machines. Listened to nature for a while. Then we went to their temple inside of the park named Inokashira Benzaiten; it is an iconic shrine within the park where you bless for money. The interesting part is to take out our money, put it into a basket and wash it in their shrine water. If you’ve got the time, you can walk a little further to visit the park zoo and the Ghibli Museum.
