Celebrate Learning

Oxford University is an institution that celebrates learning and knowledge. Known to be established during the original Saxon period sometime early 1100, it is considered the oldest learning institution in the English speaking world. The University of Oxford is located some 56 miles northwest of London. It consist of different colleges and buildings in every style of Engish architecture since the late Anglo Saxon. Among the most notable is the Radcliffe Camera, a library completed in mid 1700 and is positioned at the heart and considered as the focal point of the University of Oxford. There is also the famous "Bridge of Sigh" at the Herford College and Christ Church which is home to Oxford Cathedral.
