Upstairs in Notre Dame, there are no monsters

I have been to Paris twice. Once in winter with friends (there were Christmas markets and a Ferris wheel), to be honest, Paris in winter is full of stone buildings and the Eiffel Tower looks bleak, and the plane trees are also bare. The other time was in summer with my parents, there was sunshine and flowers, and obviously the Paris in the header image didn't look so ugly. For the first time, I queued up with my friends and climbed more than 300 steps, spiraling all the way up to the top. While waiting in line outside to climb the tower, we could also admire the exquisite biblical sculptures on the exterior wall paintings, so queuing up wasn't so annoying. On the top floor, there are no strange people, except for a large clock and a group of small animal stone carvings called "Stryge"... Stryge is Greek for "night owl" and is a dark elf in Middle Eastern legends. These monsters have been squatting there quietly for hundreds of years, overlooking the misty Paris city below with their strange and stern expressions. P.S.
