The front desk was also very enthusiastic about helping me upgrade my room. 🌈Hardware facilities: The duplex suite is divided into two floors, with all the basic smart furniture, and you get a welcome fruit plate upon check-in: ✅The first floor is a small living room with a sofa and TV, which has all the basic functions, but there are a bit few power outlets. It was hard to find one, and it was very loose; I had to press down on it while charging my phone😂 (my hand went numb), and the sofa felt a bit dirty, I hope the hotel can improve it🤔; ✅The second floor is mainly the bedroom and bathroom. The bed is large and moderately firm, which is quite comfortable. Their bathroom style is quite distinctive😂, describing it as 'ancient mu style' is quite fitting; ✅The swimming pool and gym are on the B1 floor. To be honest, they feel a bit small, and compared to many that directly overlook the scenery, they seem a bit monotonous🤔. 🔆Hotel service: The service at Andaz is still , from the room upgrade to dining and check-out, the whole process was very smooth, and they answered many questions, which was a good experience👍. 🔥Dining experience: ✅They don't have an executive lounge‼️, but they do have a bar and happy hour (18-19:30). You can inquire about the buffet dinner directly at the front desk, and the price is slightly lower than online (but only on non-holidays😭); ✅For both dinner and breakfast, staff will guide you to your seat, and the dishes are quite rich. For breakfast, some dishes that are cooked to order can be taken with a small tag, and they will be delivered to your table, which is quite convenient. ‼️Drawbacks: ✅Scenery: Their location is in Xintiandi, surrounded by tall buildings, so the view from the window is indeed a bit lacking, especially since my room overlooked a construction site😂, and the hotel even provided earplugs😂. ✅Equipment: Some of the equipment is indeed a bit old, which may slightly affect the experience, but it's still within an acceptable range🤔. 💗Surrounding facilities: ✅Xintiandi Plaza: Xintiandi is a 5-minute walk away, great for a good stroll👍. ✅Shikumen: If you have spare time, it's nice to walk around Shikumen and learn about Shanghai's history👍. 📌Address: No. 88 Songshan Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai 🚇Transportation: Metro Line 13, Site of the First National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party·Huangpi South Road Station
