Isola Bella Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Isola Bella is one of the Borromean Islands, about 400 metres off Stresa, and can be reached in a few minutes from Verbania, Baveno, Stresa and Arona.
The island is a natural treasure made even richer by human intervention; it has always been one of the favourite visitor attractions of Lake Maggiore, not to be missed if you want unparalleled views of the lake and its surroundings. Isola Bella is dominated by its sumptuous Baroque palace, along with a luxuriant Italian-style garden, which reaches a height of 37 metres and is laid out on ten terraces. Many parts of the palace are open to visitors: richly furnished rooms and opulent salons embellished with priceless artworks.
The garden is full of flowers and exotic plants of great rarity, which grow thanks to the particularly mild climate of the Borromean Gulf. Everything on the island has been designed to create a scenic effect, including the “Theatre” constructed at the end of the superimposed terraces, dominated by a statue of a Unicorn, the heraldic emblem of the Borromeos, which is flanked by statues representing Nature and Art. The huge, extraordinary garden is further decorated with ponds, fountains and a plethora of statues dating from the second half of the 17th century. The white peacocks that wander over the manicured lawns add their grace to this enchanting spot.
Adjacent to the palace and the gardens is part of the village which used to occupy the island, with some restaurants and souvenir shops.

Backyard of God, Isola Bella ❤️😍
#europetrip
Italy's I&A, known as the "backyard of God, isola Bella attack strategy, can fully achieve a one-day tour around Milan. 1. Departing from Milano Central, a Stresa takes about 1 hour, and the ticket price is around 17 euros for a round trip. 2. Getting off from Stresa, and locating yourself in Carciano on Google Maps. Even if you can see a ticket seller, there are two options (one is a round-trip 10 euros/person for Bella Island, and the other is a transportation ticket for three islands, including Madre, Pescatori, and Bella). Personally, I feel that the transportation tickets for the three islands are cost-effective. 3. Transportation tickets for the three islands. Lido: Buy a ticket. You need to find a boat with the Lido logo on board, and they will take you to the first stop, Madre, followed by Pescatori, and finally Bella Island. (Note: you need to find a boat with the Lido logo for round-trip travel) Four people recommend Madre and Bella Island. These two islands are really worth visiting. Madre Island is a place with both botanical gardens and animals. Take a photo and you'll see that Pescatori Island is mostly for eating and selling (we recommend 6 euros per pack of grapefruit and lemon sugar). Bella Island goes without saying much!! Please see the map above (for admission: Madre and Bella). Both islands require tickets to visit, and transportation tickets for both islands are limited

Mt Etna Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
I have been longing for an active volcano since I was a child, and I hope that one day I will stand in the crater to see the spectacular scene of magma eruption. Mount Etna in Sicily can be said to be a famous volcano in Italy. It is also very famous throughout Europe. If you have the opportunity to come to Sicily, you should be able to check it out.
I still remember, not long ago, the Internet was full of news about the eruption of Mount Etna. What attracted me at that time was not so much the thrill of it as it continued to erupt, but rather the surprise and carnival that people were eager to see.
Morocco and Tunisia are truly deserving of their reputation as tourist and vacation destinations
After a flight of over two hours from Tunisia, you arrive in Turkey. From the air, the urban development of Tunisia is quite impressive (see photos 1, and 4-10). Flying over Sicily, you can see Mount Etna🌋, which I climbed in 2019. A year later, the volcano erupted . Passing by today, I see it's still smoking
Back at Istanbul Airport☕️, it's brilliantly lit ... I'm not sure if the strait I photographed from the air is the Bosporus (photo 14)
I'm feeling homesick, returning to Shanghai is always so familiar, warm, and wonderful. Shanghai Airport has undergone some small changes again, now you can see the real-time status of your luggage being transported from the plane you arrived on at the baggage claim area (photo 19)
Every trip is a beautiful memory
On the peak of Etna
The Funivia Etna, or Etna Cable Car, offers visitors a thrilling journey to the summit of Mount Etna, Europe's most active volcano. Situated on the eastern coast of Sicily, Italy, this cable car system provides a convenient and awe-inspiring way to experience the majestic beauty and geological wonders of the volcano.
Ascending from the southern slope of Etna, the cable car transports passengers to an altitude of approximately 2,500 meters (8,200 feet), providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and the volcanic terrain below. From there, visitors can board off-road vehicles or hike to reach higher elevations and explore the moon-like landscapes of lava fields, craters, and steaming vents.
The Funivia Etna not only offers unparalleled access to the volcano's dramatic scenery but also provides insights into its geological significance and volcanic activity. Knowledgeable guides accompany visitors on guided tours, sharing information about Etna's history, eruptions, and unique ecosystem.

Exploring the foggy Mount Etna
#summerdream
Mount Etna, Europe's most active volcano, towers majestically over the eastern coast of Sicily, Italy.
Rising to an elevation of over 3,300 meters (10,900 feet), Etna's imposing presence dominates the landscape, its snowy peaks contrasting with the lush greenery below. Its volcanic activity has shaped the surrounding terrain, creating a diverse ecosystem of forests, vineyards, and fertile plains.
Etna's eruptions have also contributed to the region's rich soil, making it ideal for agriculture. The volcanic slopes are adorned with picturesque villages and ancient vineyards, producing some of Sicily's finest wines.
Etna is also a popular destination for adventurers and nature enthusiasts. Hiking trails wind their way through lunar landscapes of hardened lava flows, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the Mediterranean Sea beyond.
