Kamitakada Hikawa Shrine in Nakano Ward, Tokyo 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 In 1453, villagers who admired the divine virtue of Susanoo-no-Mikoto enshrined this shrine from Musashi Ichinomiya Hikawa Shrine. It is the guardian shrine of the entire Kamitakada area and is affectionately known as "Kamitakada Ohikawasama." It is said that between 1457 and 1467 (the Choroku era), the warlord Ota Dokan of the Muromachi period visited Kamitakada Hikawa Shrine and planted a pine tree. Unfortunately, that pine tree died in 1937. After climbing the stone steps into the shrine grounds, you will find a vast space, and if you go up a few more steps, you will find the shrine building at the back.
