Following the wind across the equator to the southern end of the Indian Ocean

My first stop exploring the world brought me to Indonesia, where I unlocked many new life experiences. For the first time, I went deep diving and snorkeling in the Indian Ocean. For the first time, I saw the Bromo volcano, which looks just like the moon, witnessed a sky full of stars at sunrise, and felt the rumbling breath and sulfur smell of the crater. For the first time, I chased dolphins 🐬. For the first time, I experienced the thrilling jungle ATV ride. I marveled at how wonderful it is to grow up, to be free, and to work hard to earn money. Everything I once learned in middle school geography textbooks is now vividly unfolding before my eyes. Next, I’ll work even harder to see the wider world.
