On the way to Wutai Mountain, passing by Xinzhou West Station, I came to Xinzhou Ancient City because the bus was still early. After entering the ancient city, two feelings: first, Yang Ma's recommendation is really worth a visit; second, if I have time, I want to turn more. It took about ten minutes to take a taxi from Xinzhou West Station to Xinzhou Ancient City, and the taxi fare was 17 yuan. I learned from the introduction that Xinzhou Ancient City is a newly built cultural project in the later period, but it's really nice inside, all of which are architectural styles of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and there is a church. The feeling of walking in is like going to Pingyao, a city and a big attraction. There are many small temples inside, the God of Wealth Temple, Wenchang Pavilion... old and solemn... There is a Xiurong Academy here, and there are book houses inside, all of which are very emotional... On the day I went, I also caught up with a play, and a wonderful rare drama was being performed on the old stage: Fanshi Dayangko, and the tourists below were all sitting on the stone steps to listen to the washing, and I suddenly felt back to my childhood! There are many delicacies in Xinzhou Ancient City, and unlike other places, they are all the same snacks. Here are all traditional Shanxi delicacies. Each store is handmade and can be seen. Many are non-legacy. There are also many small shops opened by craftsmen in the ancient city, such as wood carving, paper cutting, etc., which are very distinctive and worth visiting. There are also some small shops for Jin merchants to take photos, and I want to take a set next time The ancient city is actually not big, no need for transportation, you can walk, if you add photos, leave a day for this ancient city, there are also homestay hotels inside where you can stay for one night and enjoy the night view. The streets here are not only good for shopping but also very photogenic. They are beautiful even if you take them yourself. I will definitely come again next time when I have time🤗
