Cuiping Hills (also known as Wuzhi hills) is a highly underrated location. Its in Putao town which is about 25km from Yangshuo (It took us 50 mins by electric bike on a rainy day). Xiangong and Laozhai mountains are more popular and full of crowds, and are often annoying because of the huge number of people. However, Cuiping hills have equally amazing views and very few people on this hike. You’ll feel totally amidst nature and its glory, and most importantly away from hundreds of onlookers pushing each other to take pics. There are nicely cut rock steps which makes the hike easy and the entire hike up the mountains take 15 mins only.
